@@darell8310 It is the point. The truck devalues once it drives out the dealership anyways, so why not get that as a discount because the truck had a new paint job? Not about to complain about a perfectly normal truck, when it means at least 10k off the price if you know how to negotiate.

interestingly enough, i bought a 2020 laramie longhorn dually and a week after I took delivery, there was repair work done to mine as well, but the damage happened during transport. Both FCA and the dealer did not have this disclosed to them; the transport company did it off the books and never spoke a word of it. I only noticed after the clear coat was rapidly peeling away. The same fender, too!

when I worked as a porter at a ford stealership one of the new guys on his second day smashed the bedside of a 2020 f350 dually into a pole, only he didnt tell anyone, he let the owner find it when he parked it, the pole he hit was one of those really sturdy concrete filled ones and it was bent over a good bit

@westen champlin if you want to keep that truck rust free, spray fluid film on the underbody, frame in and out of it and in the rockers and bottom of your doors. I would start as soon as its new and do it atleast once if not twice a year in the fall before winter and in the spring time. Good looking Truck and Congratulations!!!!!!!

Good thing bad thing about my 07 ram is that I have replaced the rear fenders multiple times when stuff like that happened. Unlike the newer ones they are separate from the bed so you don't have to replace the whole thing. I regret not having a manual or the saddle leather seats. Oh I have a black ram and live on a dirt road. A ceramic coat helps. If I need it clean I just hit it with a hose or spend a couple of bucks to use the pressure washer at the car wash and its all pretty. You ever get down around Springfield/Ozarks Mo I will buy ya lunch

@@nathanielplenge maybe, my guess is just a TSB and at best they replace with the new 2021 cp3 only after a current cp4 blows up. Its going to be really fking dumb if they keep slapping replacement cp4s on us '19-'20 owners trucks. I'm still baffled by how Ford has used them since 2011 though...GM threw in the towel after 5 years and now Ram/Cummins after 2.
