About 25 years ago I stayed 3 days at Gnarabup while an out-of-this-World swell worked every reef in sight, kids in a sweetie shop!

It's difficult to line up how good these kids are,until you see them toy with a wave like the box,40 years ago tried so many times to make the take off,no success,and it wasn't just me....these boards are like Formula 1 cars,we used to ride chunky single fins,that aside the skill level on these guys is insane!!!!! like who deliberately stalls to get deeper at the box 😎

Cranking mate. At 13yrs old that's first place while bodyboarding I got slammed hard, heavy pits and being spat out hard. One time blowing me off board. Love Mr Lippy at end. Spent weeks in holidays with mates staying at Prevelly. One time saw massive shark just 20m out back and we caught 1st wave straight in onto reef getting slammed and stood on dry reef and watched for 30min then went back out because it was cranking, had it to ourselves most of the time otherwise maybe couple other blokes. Different these days. Avagud1 you were rippin.
