The "Heart of Stone" follows ultra runner, Francesca Stone, as she lives out her dream of running in the Western States 100. Will her years of preparation, grit, determination, focus and support of those she loves get her to the finish line? Will the "Heart of Stone” be sufficient? This documentary will allow you to gain a glimpse into the, soul mind and heart of an ultra runner with an unwavering goal of crossing the most famous of all 100-mile finish lines.

I watched this video on Sunday. Cried, slept for three hours and went out and did 28.66 miles yesterday which is a personal best distance for me. I’m watching it again now. Thanks for being a blessing and an inspiration.

Hi Frankie, My wife and I met you at the finish line as Jim W. came in first this year. You told us about this documentary while we we all walking away. We've watched a lot of Western States documentaries over the years, this is one of my favorite. So real and raw. These are the stories that need to be told to really understand what the Western States run is all about. Well done. Hope to see you again at the finish line.

Hi Frankie!! It was a joy to meet you at Forest Hill! My husband, Joe was suffering when I picked up at Bath rd. I told him I had met you and that you sent your good wishes to him. Thank you so much for this great video. I am a 55 year old runner in the UK and I would love to do an ultra. I have watched a lot of videos about Western States but this is the first one that has felt truly relevant for me. Thanks Frankie . What a great effort and can I say what a great support crew you had! They were amazing.

I did an Ironman with a stress fracture known a few months prior to the race so I can appreciate the guts, courage, and mental strength it took to complete this. Great job Frankie! I live in Reno and just now getting into trail running again after my recovery, hoping to one day be able to do half as much as you have!

Well done to both Frankie and Lindsey, her filmmaker! Neither are easy feats. To Frankie, congratulations on completing what is a notoriously difficult course and with half and hour to spare!!! And to Lindsey, thanks so much for your care and crafting of this film, other more well known content creators couldn't have topped this! Go be a female film director, there are too few!!!
