WestJet mechanics make surprise strike start of long weekend

Ай бұрынTens of thousands of travellers are dealing with delays and disruptions after WestJet engineers walked off the job Friday night.
In a statement issued earlier, WestJet said the strike has forced more than 235 flight cancellations alone with more than 33,000 travellers affected.

Imagine shutting down an entire airline instead of just paying a few hundred critical AME’s a contract that reflects their value in a country with a now insane cost of living. WestJet’s weird European management team is a disaster lol
