Conservative peer Daniel Finkelstein says he’s picked up “a bit of talk in government circles” that Rishi Sunak could call a general election in July because the Tories “don't think that things will improve”.

A decent human doesn't endanger the public for petty PR gain (Eat Out To Help Out). A decent human doesn't break one of his own laws (Party-gate). A decent human doesn't cave in to racists and scumbags by pushing through a policy already found to be illegal by courts both national and international, and which they themselves are on record saying "won't work" (Rwanda policy).

I heard that democracy has been promised to US Republicans so I don't actually see here an election is coming from (less worlds largest diamond, worlds largest sapphire, less excalibre (whats the calibre)), and I don't think that they even like us (envious as in enviroment). Don't worry. The Yanks will be paying us for it all (with our own money), which we'll all be paying the odd couple of grand each that we'll get for democracy back to US for The Internet. You are not allowed to leave for a safe country.

It won’t be July. But it won’t be January either. A lot more unfavourable bank statements land on voter doormats in January, than any other time of year. The smart money is on a first October election, for exactly 50 years. And possibly on exactly the same date as the second 1974 election: October 10th.

You're thinking about it wrong. They're all assuming there's some kind of clever calculation going on in Sunak's head to pick the best time for the election from a political point of view. But he has no political instincts and is almost entirely passive, reacting to events. He'll call the election on the last day that he's allowed to do so, because anything else would require him to make a proactive decision.
