Hi all!
In this video we do a quick test of countertop size "Weston #8 Meat Grinder" review. I purchased this from amazon and tested it for the first time. I can tell you one thing, it's amazing and does the job super well!
I used to grind my meat with size #5 hand manual grinder and quickly decided to step up to this machine. So far no regrets, only positivity! Check out the video, this might be the one you've been looking for!

I just bought one from Best Buy - I'll mostly be using it to make sandwich spreads with cold cuts, so the meat will be much lighter - thanks so much for the tut :)

That is exactly why I made this video. I could not find more detailed video about this. So far been using it without any issues at all! Very easy to wash, never gums up on me, love it! And the price is just right, for a well named brand. I did 2weeks ago 10lb of fatty pork shoulder in just a few minutes. It takes me longer to prepare and clean up then grinding the meat haha. I never buy grinded pork again it's a huge difference in flavour and texture. I'm sure you will love it! Hope it helps! 🙂👌

@@westcoastcharcuterie I used it yesterday for the first time... The only thing is it's so darn loud... My older meat grinder wasn't nearly as loud is one.. but I'll keep it ☺️

@@virtualwhispers yeaah it's not the most quietest, but get the job done really well. I would say my nutri bullet is even louder then this 🤔

No problem, hope it helps! Yes I'm very happy with it. I've only used it couple of times and I think it's great! For my personal use is more then I need. Compact, light, not to loud and still powerful enough to do 6lb+ of meat in a few minutes without overheating or getting stuck, so definitely works well!

I just returned a similar machine made by STX. I ordered the Lem mighty bite instead.

Why didn't you like it? Yeaah LEM is professional grinder. All stainless steel, DC quiet motor, but comes as 7x more expensive then this little grinder. Which size did you get?

@@westcoastcharcuterie I found the STX had a very high pitched whining coming from the motor. I bought the little bite for around $230 on Amazon. I ordered the foot switch as well. The LEM grinds sufficiently for me even on the low setting. Thank you for replying😁👍🏻

Do you think its able to grind soft chicken bones, like wings for example?

Hi. Probably not. You can always shoot an email to Weston and ask their recommendations. Personally I would recommend something more heavy duty. Auger and all metal parts are made from polished aluminum, so if bone gets trapped, it can easily crack the housing or the auger. You probably want something with full metal gears and stainless steel auger for that kind of job.

Horrible company. I bought pasta machine. I have two. No telephone company. No answer The emails. Good luck if you have problem withe grinder no body answer
