Most of the high moisture corn we do goes into the silo so watching this process going into a bunker is really kind of neat to watch. Rock on Mr. Sonne!!

What do you call a deer with no eyes. Tiff is so awesome and beautiful. Fantastic spouse. Man y'all farm HARD!! It's so entertaining and educational. I learn so much from watching. It's really REALLY fascinating. Like things that I never would have ever thought about. Wet corn? Dry corn? Yet it all makes such perfect sense. Because of how you explain it. That for me, is absolutely why I LOVE your fantastic videos so much. It's just so damn interesting. Thank you so much! And KEEP RAINING!! The difference it makes is unbelievable!!

We are old school we have a older JD cropper with a 3 row picking head we add a screen and chop cop and corn works good for us

We have the same combine on our farm. We kept plugging the return auger, changed the clutch and still plugged it. If your return chain isn’t new that could be the problem too. Just another recommendation to look at. As always thanks for the video

These days be more expensive but we had a 50 foot Harvester silo we filled with high moisture corn in the 60’s - 80’s. We ran the corn thru a crimper so the kernels were flat as it came out of the silo unloader. We fed it to the Holsteins as we milked them.. thx for the video !!

Great video guys. We hauled wet corn into a feedlot one year. But the weather turned out so hot it was almost dry Corn. They had big hoses spraying water as it came out of the grinder so it would be wet enough to pack

Congratulations on the sophisticated metering system you have designed for the liquid preservative. Add this example to the list of many uses for a 5 gallon bucket. High moisture ground corn makes very good feed for beef and dairy cattle. Thanks for another great video. And have a safe and successful harvest!

Cole, what's the yield monitor say? Here in west central Iowa, the corn is just starting. The silage guys are done, yields averaged @20percent less than last year.

That sounds kinda like the slip clutch on a 95 john Deere. This statement is information for the viewers. Cattle use more of dry corn , if it is ground.

We did about 40 thousand bushels of wet corn this year. We have a buffalo grinder with a blower. Have to start and stop every 1/2 semi load to push a pack. Really like your grinder. Seems much more efficient than ours

Find a job packing corn & grading. I loaded the bucket with extra weight just for packing as they’re faster back & forth with empty super faster & easier to do final grade & smoother But I’m a skid steer addict😅😅
