Reasons I want to see wet leg live: 1. They’re amazing 2. Longest and loudest scream is ready and waiting
@delewan2 жыл бұрын
With the news of the world, I think we should all practice our longest and loudest screams more often. Tip of the hat to every member of this band - drums, bass, keys, backing vocals - they all bring it 100%.

There are actually entire cultures out there that use scream therapy, and there are a few therapists in the US that use it with their patients, and recommend it as well. And this was long before the news of the world today.
@sirfizz6518 Жыл бұрын
They're all experienced players who are used to playing more demanding music. Forming a band under a pact to never take it seriously must have been such a breath of fresh air for each member... And the fact that it ended up being everyone's big break must have been mind-blowing...

My first impressions of Wet Leg is their originality and some old school age group of my age group (66 ) will no doubt have a pop slagging the youth of today off. I've not had this tablet long and admittedly some of sounds from the youth is difficult to comprehend but there are a lot listening to classic rock and pop and doing there own thing musically and some of there music is original and catchy. It's day two of Glastonbury and no doubt it will be another learning curve and I'm looking forward to it.👍🎸☮️🏴🇺🇲🏴🎸🇦🇺😁🇨🇦🇳🇴🇸🇪🇧🇪

That would have been the third or fourth performance of those two songs for that appearance. For that show there is usually at least two complete set rehearsals and run throughs. Not sound checks but complete run through for sound mixing and video camera edits. Zero spontaneity in final performance. Doing a "live" performance like this for TV shows is at best a drag, at worst a really soul destroying experience. No fun. Bands do these because it is great publicity and a great way of getting your music in front of a huge audience. No other reason. The only shows that are fun for the bands are true live TV music shows like The Tube back in the 1980's. Just like playing a set at a venue.

@@amoebavirus1508 Funnily enough due to the broadcast time on Friday evening seeing The Tube was very hit and miss at the time so did not see lots of episodes. It was only when I got to watch all 5 series all the way through a few years ago that I realized what a uniquely fantastic show The Tube had been. And how many great live performances they had shown. Often from the most surprising people. As you said, nothing like it now.
