We still love doing cap and cove vinyl flooring only small area ..big areas are making us tired 😫.. but we still do big projects too ..very important to get it all installed properly

I’m about to learn how to install this on my own without help. I do all different kinds of materials but flash coving I never done before and i have to do like 45 bathrooms of these. I’m excited to get it down but I’m nervous

Im having our wetroom floor replaced as ours has deteriorated. Not sure how long ago it was laid as we swapped homes. Its all bowed and water as found its way under. Been waiting 9 months for the H/A to fix it

The water must have panetrated front internal corner. It's not been heat welded properly . Good luck

Is there any sealant applied, or is the room already made waterproof enough to not need any extra measure? I assume the latter, if its for a medical facility

Hi. I live in a council bungalow which has wet room flooring (anti slip for mobility issues) I’m wanting to replace it myself as it’s a horrible colour and has stains in many areas that just won’t come out. My question to you is would this be an expensive job, As in like VERY expensive? I know it’s different prices area to area. I’m in the North East (Yorkshire) but if you could just give me a rough idea and say well could be under 1k OR oof you’re looking at around 3-4K. Many thanks in advance 😊

You'd be looking at cost of vinyl the coving and capping if no tile trims to go into plus any prep your sub floor would need I.e on concrete dpm and latex screed or if on ply with a sunken tray feather finish on the joints of ply and the join between the tray and ply, you'd need a good floor layer to install as the welding can make or break a wet room seal hope that helps

How do you remove scratches from this type of flooring?

The safety vinyl flooring won't get scratched easily. That's the reason we install it in hospital building and wetroom areas

I came in contact with one yesterday looks like a pallet was pulled across the floor and scratched it. Is there a way to remove deep scratches or???

@BA7444 Yes heat weld or patched repair. We have done both ways for clients before. Get a local floor layer and he will do it for you . And it worked fine. Good luck

No caping, but yes, there will be a pvc wall cladding sheet installed all over the wall, and the tip of the sheet will be overlaped and fitted 30mm over the edge of the vinyl And that will make it waterproof

Safety first . Couldn't do anything without gloves . And it's part health and safety in uk . We love it 😀 & at the end of the shift we have a clean hand like office man 👨‍💼

We all use this sheet vinyl flooring in nhs building and it's not cheap .it's made for a good purpose
