Mandy relying on Georgie’s family without talking to them is wrong but Georgie expecting her to be house mom and not have a career is also wrong. She deserves to make something of herself just like him. It’s wrong to expect a mother to not chase her dreams and ambitions. It’s how resentment builds in relationships.

But he’s also like 17 or 18.. that’s almost 10 years younger than her, he’s just now starting to realize how life even works.. he’s a bit slow 😂 not saying he’s right at all but he’s learning! He’ll definitely come around an understand!

Yeah but she shouldn’t want to leave her baby and resume her career only a few weeks after her baby was born…

@@katealmaraz9756 I don’t think anything is wrong with that! I mean she wouldn’t be away alll day everyday! Just a couple of hours on certain days I’m sure.. I never want to have kids but I did have a mother who worked a full time job to make sure she could take care of us & we had a baby sitter.. I turned out just fine and had plenty of time spent with my family! Honestly she’s not doing it for herself she’s doing it for that baby and herself & that’s all that matters 🤍

The baby's about a month old. She's being selfish working when the best thing for the baby is to have her mother. Besides, that job isn't going to bring her anymore happiness than being with her baby will

@@iamfighterman9646 and why can’t Mandy? She didn’t even want to watch her baby when she was at home. Georgie already has a job, it would be a little crazy to make him stop just so Mandy can struggle with being a new mother at work

No one has a problem with men working rather than staying home all day with their kids, but when women want to people get annoyed about it. That's just pure misogyny.

It's not wrong for her to want to be a working mother as long as she makes sure her baby is still safe first and foremost. Some mothers don't have that choice and have to work. Or the other way around where they are unable to start careers because they have to look after their baby. As long as she's being responsible and looking out for her baby first and foremost, it's not wrong for her to be a little selfish.

@@JustAnotherPerson4U did you not read the ‘I UNDERSTAND BOTH SIDES’ , however in this case she is relying on Georgia’s family who all have their own jobs and kids to look after already

@@MrMonkey2150 Well she can't live off of Georgie's family forever. She most likely only had so much money in the bank. She also just plain wants to work. She can't affors outaide childcare if she doesn't have the cash.

@@MrMonkey2150 Women go back to work at different times. Some stay off longer than others. In this case, she knows the station needs a weather girl now. No one can predict when this station or another will need one again. She presumably knows the business enough and i'm guessing doesn't want to be out of the game for too long at the risk of not getting hired. Connie is being so supportive because she remembers how Mary could have done something more with her life but didn't because she got pregnant with Georgie (and later Missy & Sheldon). So if Mandy has the chance to avoid that, Connie wants her to do it.

She isnt in the wrong for wanting to pursue a career while also being a mother. She is in the wrong for pursuing a career so early into her babys infancy without a concrete plan for her care. The vague statement of "theres family" doesnt cut it, especially when you dont speak to your family and all you have on the fathers side is his immediate family due to everyone cutting them out over your baby. Mandy is so ridiculously selfish in this episode my god.

In my opinion it's better for mothers to stay home, but if they want to work that's fine. Not when the baby is so young though, wait at the very minimum 6 months.

Personally your wrong there is someone who can help or just put in a daycare it is so old school for new moms to not have a job and the extra money is really good

I love the show but don't like/love the fact that the show length is less than 20 min. networks are getting a little (LOL) greedy in commercial time. Soon it will be like watching the old cartoon in the seventies where recaps will be shown to catch up

Is people want to do jobs or It's just raising kids way more harder then making money?She doesn’t have to work.But she wants to do that job more then raising her kid.That's also normal. Because raising kids are way more harder then being a weather girl on TV.I wish people are more open about it that It’s hard or they are getting bored.Also Mendy wants to be a weather girl which is limited opportunity so she should take it.But she should more thankful to Sheldon's family.Her own family left her on the street. I hope people sometimes realize that good people are hard to get and you should be more careful about your tune while talking. It won't take so much to be more compassionate while asking help.
