I agree 100%. I thought Danny had awesome head movement a very pro style in the hyper fast pace of amateur fashion. Sweet sweet boxing.

I doubt Andre could go 6 with that pace. Each round he was getting more sloppy with the majority of his punches lacking snap. That's amateur boxing for you though... 3 rounds of 3 minute pedal to the floor brawling more often than not. If Danny had faster hands and could throw good uppercuts he could have greatly changed the look of this bout. He could have strongly discouraged that head first charging rubbish. He did a good job of turning him a few times but if he incorporated some good check hooks in there he would have looked better. When he was in fighting he should have used the shoulder roll and pivot off to gain the upper hand. His lack of use of the shoulder roll was quite disappointing considering he's using the "philly shell" (or at least standing out of it). That and he wasn't bending at the waist enough. No doubt Danny was the more skilled boxer with better footwork and punches... but ya gotta know how to deal with these awkward, unorthodox fighters (ie Mayorga).

@@denisesayers8520 his coach trains him as a pro. So he will do better in the pros. Amateur boxing does not apply unless you are going to the Olympic Games.
