Andrew was usually like that. He always comes across to me as quite solemn. George didn't take over and I believe the questions were aimed at both of them.

I agree! I was always so impressed with how intelligent and articulate George was, at such a young age! GM had the looks, the talent, the intelligence, the sense of humor, sweet, kind, humble.....a total class act! Gorgeous angel of music, with a heart of gold. I'll love him forever.....

The public in Australia and Australian fans absolutely loved and adored Wham! and George Michael. Unfortunately though, here in Australia the media and journalists are well known for having 'tall poppy syndrome'. The tall poppy syndrome is a culture where people of high status are resented, attacked, cut down or criticised because they have been classified as better than their peers. It's a shame they behave this way towards people like George Michael as he was such an amazing, intelligent, humble, talented, loving and giving human being who did so much for this world and stood up and fought for so many issues. George Michael was actually treated very poorly by the media and newspapers around the world, particularly in England and USA. They should all be disgusted for the way they treated him and disrespected him. He deserved love, respect and admiration. The fans that loved him and all the people that have been touched by his music, lyrics, passion, philanthropy and heart of gold, know and have ALWAYS known, he was a true gift from God and there will NEVER be anyone like him. Love you and miss you so much xx

That other interview was on the Australian 60 minutes in 1988 while one his Faith Tour. It was a sit down interview and Jeff McMullen's opening question was 'George are you gay'. George took them to court and won. That's why it isn't available to watch anywhere.

I just watched that interview with George Michael and that awful interviewer you can find it on KZfaq it's LISTED as 60 minutes.

Yes! i was watching that interview just yesterday. The interviewer was so cocky. It was the first question which i think George must not have expected yet he handled it way intelligently. He said - its none of others business if he slept with an animal, man or woman last night.

George had protruding chin when he smiled, along with his cleft forehead made him look a like he had a touch of mental challenge which is why he disguised it by heavy stubble that's why he used to wear it
