@Revisorycarrot1 like all the traps and ambushing and knowing the dense jungles played to their favor even though our weaponry was more advanced. They went full medieval with hit and run tactics by disappearing into underground tunnels and spike traps covered in shit etc. I'm almost positive that was a huge reason. Is there something else?
