I know it’s controversial but Zumiez is the only place in my city that sells skateboards and parts, so that is kinda my skateshop and I can’t do anything about it.

I like the video. Just one critique it's more of a sneaker shopping video. Would love to see you pick different sneakers out on the wall at the skate shop like in sneaker shopping on complex. Another thing too you bought some of the components for skateboarding but like you didn't buy any trucks, you didn't buy any bearings other than that complete board. It would have been cool to see you splurge on the accessories like that and show off the brands you love and support. Much love brother

I just bought some Spitfire F4 Classics wheels and my daughter a Nike SB skateboard backpack in that same Zumiez yesterday. I can’t believe you can’t film outside the Parks Mall. However, we absolutely loved our time in Queue. We bought some cruiser wheels, bearings, and my son a skateboard. The guy working there was very helpful and he even gave us a few stickers, which made my three kids’ day. My oldest daughter and I have been enjoying the Chisholm Trail skatepark. Unfortunately, we have to go back home to Georgia. 😁 We also hit up Magnolia, and spent some money there too. Keep up the great content, John!

Kyle Walker called me a f-ing poser on go skate day in Detroit several years ago lol (I want to say like 2018), as I was skating down the sidewalk camcording my buddies. I may suck, but the funny part is that I've been skating on and off since 1997. I drove us there that day in honor of go skate day wanting to be in the biggest city of Michigan. He was skating by me with a 30 pack of PBR that day. I was super bummed at the time as I look up to his skating a lot (to this day as well). My bro reminded me tho that Kyle acknowledged me and not him (my buddy is a great skater with many more tricks than me) 😂I'm glad that it made me even more humble. It was cool to meet an epic skater despite not being in the way that I anticipated.
