The ironwood sequence was fine. Atreus is also the protagonist. So, seeing his perspective for a while was not exactly suffering. Maybe we could have not stopped for so many fruits but still.

I actually really liked the Atreus missions, especially the ones in which you could interact with all the Aesir gods and all. And Atreus's wolf transforming "rage" ability is just so cool, man. So satisfying biting enemies into pieces.

i share your same sentiment it was a nice break from the literal trauma of fimbulwinter, and seeing atreus come into himself a bit and accept who and what he is was really nice. Ironwood was gorgeous too.

It’s just a nice break in the game. Though it does take out the violence with Kratos, it’s a story game about Atreus as well, not just the God of War like in the previous games.

The Jotunheim part of the game was a little too long I agree with that, but I really didn't feel bored. Atreus finding out about the rest of the prophecy and what happened to the giants, Angrboda and Loki's relationship ends up being really heartwarming and her grandmothers set piece was really really good. But yeah we could've gone with less magical creature safari.

I love how in this game, the powerful Kratos is beaten after 2-3 strong hits while any regular enemy tooks like 20 of them, not to mentioning bosses.

FUCKING APPLES IN A FUCKING GOD OF WAR game. And do all the other shitty chores for an uninteresting character while fucking Atreus was being the most cliched awkward teenage bullshit.
