apt was found on streeteasy. roommates were mutual friends who were looking to move at the same time as me, so lucked out on that front - but I know lots of people who found roommates through facebook groups

yea, street easy! it was listed pretty early for nyc apartments (about 2 months before move-in) and things just lined up perfectly for us
