That’s not a stretch in New York. $2000 will get you a closet and that’s about all. New York rent is not for the faint of the heart. This is why you see houses in New York going for millions. Real estate is sparse and they can on out build up not out. To be honest they got a decent amount of space for $4500

*Titles like this are misleading. They split the rent. I’m in Manhattan as well and pay $4600 and live alone. Apartments in Manhattan can only be appreciated by those of us who live here. People outside of NYC would say”you get a tiny box for more than a mortgage in Miami, homeless people all around you no matter what area you’re in. Trash smells in the summer. Crowded, rats outside no matter where you live. Roaches outside no matter where you live. Equinox is $285 per month with corporate discount. Going out for drinks and no food is $200 and you’re expected to go out minimum 3 nights per week. Manhattan is overpriced.” You will say that but it’s worth it. She has nearly 200k views and that is the validation that let’s us know we are better than those of you in flyover states!*

Love the place. It's beautiful! Also I kept every single flower petal as well. We ended up using them for our flower girl to drop at our wedding. It's now been 26 years ❤

This isn't really an 'apartment tour'. It's more like, things in our apartment tour. Two key pieces of information were left out: the unit type (studio or 1b1b?) and the general location (which borough in NYC?). That's said, it's a very nice apartment. Koreans typically have a very good sense of style and interior design.

it's such a lovely sanctuary, it's nice to know it has other amenities like a pool, lounge and theater, idk why others disliked the idea of a studio apartement, i think it's cool 🩷

Yes, studio apartments are awesome. I used to bring acquaintances to my apartment, and a studio apartment would not have worked for me back then as I needed my bedroom to be private, however, now I only bring my true friends whom I love and who love me to my apartment, so now a studio apartment would be perfect for me. I have learned that people who are just your acquaintances should not be brought to your home, nor should you visit theirs

NewYork needs to really lower the prices of apartments and studios. My friend stays in lower Manhattan and she pays 5000 for a tiny ass studio with her two kids . She’s thinking of moving to Florida but Florida where I am from is getting worse. Its crazy! I’m like close to hitting up El Chapo cause mannn😬😬 🤣🤣

Your home is very nice and cosy. The couch and the rug are absolutely gorgeous, and you did well in not separating the bed area from the living room because it is more spacious and airy this way

Thx for the video. KZfaq algo brought me here. Interesting to see how people are living in the other side of the world.. But it's so expensive living in NY 😮. For only 2.5k usd per month, i live in a two bedrooms apartment in Four Seasons private residence in kuala Lumpur , Malaysia, and i don't mention the two swimming pools and gym facilities !. I am an expat working and living in Asia for a decade now. I can't never go to NY lol .

I have a massive 5 bedroom home in Colorado with a huge backyard and front yard with views of the front range and finished basement. I pay $3200 for my mortgage. I will never understand the appeal of living in a rented space for close to $5000

I live in a 4 bedroom house with a yard and 2 car garage and my mortgage is no where near this much a month…..I could not imagine giving someone $4500 hundred a month for that little cramped space…….ppl that live in New York are crazy 😂😂😂

Real estate very much depends on where you live. I know this individual who was acting so pompous and arrogant about his property he was renting buying and I was like that would get you nothing on the east coast but because you live in the middle of the country where no one wants to live you’ll get a lot of space for less $$ ( well not no one there are some hotspots but this state wasnt) That said unless you are really rich or need to live in New York for work it’s really cramped and $$ and to be honest two people are living in this apartment so they are splitting the rent at $2000 a piece which is pretty reasonable.

Fantastic neighborhood, doorman, security, workout room, ammenities in the building and access to anything and everything is the name of the game in NYC. The simplicity of the apartment is enviable and worth the rent in a city with one of the most expensive real estate in the world. High achievers and wanting the best is what NYC is all about!
