The amount of movies and shows you can make with just batman and his universe is insane

I have a fun idea. Make a DC or Marvel Cinematic universe where the Heroes are villains and vice versa. It's basically DC's Earth 3 with the Crime Syndicate and all.

Ive been working on my own DCCU for a couple months now. I love how we both kinda accidentally independently came up with the Dark Knight Rises lol

I personally feel that this universe could very much work with your take on how to write the DCEU and something that hopefully James Gunn might do when he starts his rewrite of the DCU .

How about giving this treatment to Superman and Spider-Man. For Superman, it would begin with either Brandon Routh’s Superman in Superman Returns or Henry Cavill’s Superman in Man of Steel. Which ever one you go with, a cinematic universe could kick off. As for Spider-Man, pick either Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield. Imagine a world where Spider-Man 4 was allowed to continue or a world where Andrew Garfield was allowed to continue as the Amazing Spider-Man. From there, a cinematic universe would kick off with either of them. And imagine a world where Superman Returns turned was better or one where Zack Snyder made a proper Man of Steel sequel and had his own Superman trilogy. From there a cinematic universe could kick off from either of them.

I think it would be perfect if The Batman Part II ends with Bruce agreeing that he should have a public social life to keep up appearances. It ends with him getting dressed to go out and then Alfred hands him a ticket to Haly’s Circus

Honestly you solved the Robin issue,like let be real here,there not going cast a 10-12 year old as a crime fighting acrobat,so just saying that he has been in training as robin makes it easier and make it feel more reasonable That Bruce has a kid as his sid kick,he was just training and when he got older Bruce decided it was time but still put safety wheels on him.

This is great. Batman has so much history and allies that this isn't even enough. I mean if it was possible having each Robin for many years would be amazing, like having Dick Grayson for like 5 movies would be sick and then Jason for like 3 movies yk and so on. It would be awesome. You even got the ages to line up to what they usually are or people like the most, except Cassandra she's usually as old Jason or Stephanie

I really liked your changes about Batman begins and then including Catwoman in the second movie (errasing Rachel) because I don't know if you would belive me but I literally thought the same... and Mr.Freeze is maybe a good choice in a third movie where Robin is also included because the first movie is heavily about fear... it begins with his fear and when his parents are murdered, his father tells him not to fear, the whole movie is not just about defeating the fear but also how to use it against you enemies and one of the main villains is Scarecrow (I think he should've had a bigger role) who represents fear. The second movie is about order, chaos and madness and yeah... the main villain is the Joker who represents chaos and madness... Batman and Harvey Dent gets invited by the Joker in to madness to embrace the chaos and Batman is tempted to break his one rule but Harvey Dent is the one who fails... so if we are going to introduce the Robin, it should be about vengeance, anger and wrath... Dick's parents are killed and he is seeking for blood just like Bruce when he was younger and Bruce will try to help him to stop his anger and not to fall in to darkness... so we are going to need a villain who represents wrath... do you guys have any other suggestions than Mr.Freeze?

I like this entire idea, my only thing is maybe instead of adapting the judas contract for Nightwing 2 you take from Teen Titans season 1 where he's a looming threat throughout Nightwing 1 and pulls and tries to be a double anget in Nightwing 2. Still with the same ending of Slade going on a hunt for who really killed his son. But the entire movie feels more like an espionage type film.

I think in a batman cinematic universe this is what should be done 1. I would do 2 batman trilogies 2. I would do batman animated movie's 3. I would do three batman games 4. I would do a solo nightwing movie 5. I would do a solo Batgirl movie 6. I would do Robin and Red Hood movie 7. I would do a joker and harley quinn movie 8. I would do a teen titans trilogy set of movies who is lead by Robin at first and then lead by nightwing 9. I would do a Gotham knights movie with Batgirl, Robin, red hood, nightwing. With catwomen making sole appearances 10. And I would do a suicide squad movie

Now that the arrowverse is cloose to the end i would love to see u making a video about the ultimate justice league in the arrowverse, counting all the heroes that are still active that could be members of the group

This actually sounds really cool, I’d love to see those Infinity War and Endgame equivalents. One thing I’m curious about is who would still be fighting against Bane at the beginning of The Dark Knight Returns since it wasn’t said who exactly was imprisoned by Bane, I guess it was left up to our imaginations so I see it as Red Robin, Batwoman, and most of the Outsiders except for one or two (like how Rocket and Nebula were the last of the Guardians after the Snap), and maybe one or two other heroes are imprisoned by Bane until the final act where I guess Deathstroke and Ravager break them out to help Batman, Nightwing, and the rest, Catwoman is playing a similar role to what I think she did (or tried to) in the first act of Injustice 2 with acting as a double agent and getting as much information from Bane or whatever he has as she can to relay it back to Oracle for the heroes to use, and Nightwing is leading the remaining heroes with Batman out of commission

This slaps so hard It also proves how Batman has a lot of stuff. It would be literally impossible to make Wonder Woman franchise similar to this because less content.

Pretty cool. I will say, and call me typical as you wish, I think there should be more Joker. He’s used a lot, I get that, but he IS Batman’s arch nemesis. It’s expected for him to have large roles, especially in Batman’s presence.

Another detail I would focus on is Bane recruiting and releasing all of the surviving villains from previous movies to fight alongside him. That way it can actually be more inclusive and all-encompassing than Endgame final battle

Other than Bruce killing Bane in Dark Knight Returns, which feels very out of character, this is really great. It’s interesting to see all of these alternate-history cinematic universes. Maybe you could do a Spider-Man one next? He definitely has enough allies to do that, and the Web Warriors exist in the comics, so it could work.

i've literally talked about this with my best friend today. I absolutely LOVE this idea and, as I said once, I will say it 600 times - I will go and watch every single movie to feature Dick Grayson at least once. However crappy it would be. Especially on the big screen LOL

Fun fact: the larger version of the Batfamily (or the Knights) is also called Batman Inc. Just another idea for what could’ve been the name for the larger movies with more of the Batfamily. It’s also not a great name for a movie, but oh well.

If you ever decide to make another cinematic universe you should do one of titans. For example each titan can have their own movie or trilogy and in each team up movie they can have their main villain like trigon and brother blood. And for the solo projects I have an idea for some. Nightwing with deathstroke and starfire blackfire. You can even add doom patrol for the guardians of the galaxy role.

I was expecting the Infinity War and Endgame event to be based around the Joker Wars. You could introduce Alexis Kaye (Punchline) in a post-credit scene where she's starting a vlog, podcast, or TikTok live starting to mourn the Joker. Throughout the next few films you could have minor crooks, tv broadcasts, newspaper headlines, etc. showing the growing radicalization of Gotham Youth. In Joker Wars Part 1, you could have Harley break out of Arkham and actually warn Bruce, Barbara, or Dick about this and that even the other inmates are viewing Kaye as a sort of martyr or leader. The rest of the movie could jump between minor skirmishes, the villification of Batman and the Bat-family, and Kaye figuring out everyone's secret identity. It would end almost as a cross between Joker Wars and the Killing Joke - a few masked henchmen in clown masks or makeup go to Barbara's house and paralyze her, setting her up as Oracle. This sets off a chain reaction, where the Bat-family basically turns on Gotham. Kaye, in the background still, embezzles Bruce's money and then joins the fight herself. After some dialogue exchanges while fighting, Bruce realizes Gotham no longer needs him and accepts defeat and retires. Joker War Part 2 sees the Bat-family reunite, Bruce gain his fortune back, and take down Punchline once and for all.

Mind if I ask if you have any thoughts on the Gotham Knights game after all the reception it’s getting? I personally think it’s kinda great. The bat family are well written as characters. Though there are some problems with the main story.

Here is my Bat Family Slate: Phase1 Batman 1: a couple years have passed since Bruce became Batman. He meets Dick and his character arc is learning how to work with a partner and Dick is learning to be Robin. Robin: Dick is 11 at this point and has to learn the duality of being a hero and a teenage kid. Two face can be the villain and Dick meets Barbara. Barbara know Dick is hiding something. Titans: Dick is 13 and decides on forming a team like the Justice League. Donna Troy as Wonder Girl, Wally West as Kid Flash, Gar as Aqualad, and Roy Harper as Speedy is in the team and they all have different character arcs. Donna and Gar have conflicts with each other because of their race, Roy has family conflicts, Wally doesn’t feel like he deserves his power because he always messes up, and Dick has to learn to lead the team. Phase 2 Batman 2: with Dick busy with the Titans, Bruce trains and helps Barbara as she becomes Batgirl. Poison Ivy as the villain as Bruce is mind controlled by her and Barbara has to defeat her to save Bruce Batgirl: Barbara learning to be a hero and a teenager Titans 2: Dick is around 16-17 and his arc is about learning to trust his secrets to his team. The conflict can be the Justice League or Batman not completely trusting them to work as their own league so by the end of the movie they stop becoming sidekicks and be their own heroes. The mistrust that the team has for Dick caused him to reveal his identity to the team. Phase 3 Batman 3: Bruce meets Jason Todd and trains him to be his partner. Robin 2: 2 years has past as Jason as Robin. The villain is Joker and unfortunately Jason dies at the end of the movie. Nightwing: a year has passed since Dick stopped being Robin and he now lives in Bludhaven as a cop but circumstances make him have to suit up again but this time as his own hero Phase 4 Batman 4: Bruce is a more hardcore Batman and stopped pulling his punches. Tim Drake is introduced and figured out his identity and helps him from making the mistake of killing the Joker. Robin 3: Tim Drake as Robin and Cassandra Cain and Stephanie Brown is introduced. He learns to lead a team and the villain can be Clayface Red Hood: in the pov of Jason as he gets resurrected and wants revenge from Joker, with conflicts between him and the Bat Family. It ends with Joker crippling Barbara and Jason not killing Joker. Batgirl 2: the mantle gets passed down to Stephanie Brown as Barbara who is now Oracle trains her with Cassandra Phase 5 Batman 5: Bruce finds out that he has a son that has been trained since birth to be an assassin. His arc is learning to be a father to him. The Villain will be Ras Al Ghul and Talia Al Ghul. Robin 4: Damian Wayne as Robin who has to learn how to be a kid Bat Family or Gotham Knights: Batman has died by sacrificing himself and everyone from the Bat Family is in conflict on who needs to pick up the mantle. In the end Dick becomes Batman and Damian as his Robin. Tim is in denial of Bruce’s death so he becomes Red Robin. Red Robin: Tim goes detective in order to find out what happened to Bruce and spends the movie getting him back.

The funny thing is i always thaught that if you want to start a real dc universe you start with the entire batman cinematic universe first , then when hes older and most of the batfamily is around thats when the league starts getting introduced , that was he can fight his whole rogues first then he is ready to fight with the league

18:30 My opinion of Under the Red Hood has always been that it should have ended with Jason killing the Joker. If you're gonna bring back one of the forbidden characters back from the dead, there has to be some sort of exchange to show how critical that character will become going forward.

Something that always bugged me is that the Nolanverse is just the 3 movies. It’s just such a massive waste of such a solid Universe, so much more could have been done, and they could have even made a non voiced sequel for Joker, to satisfactorily remove him from the Universe.
