I don't collect knives but I needed a new one as I made shite of my last knife I had for over 5 years of use. So I ordered this one without checking you tube reviews. In my opinion only no other knife has a look in with ergonomics style and materials used. So I'm glad when I did check reviews. I think I picked right 😁

Really is a beautiful blue TI scales and the blue accents really had to that. Love the blade shape too. Hopefully there will be a sale someday. 😆

A raptor is close to $400, so idk why there is any issue on the price of this knife. As a matter of fact, im getting ready to order the bronze one instead of a raptor

Great looking knife with a not-so-great price tag. Does WE just use a template that automatically prices anything they drop at $300+? Ridiculous. Would love to get one of these but I'm perfectly happy waiting for price drops or buying thru the second-hand market. Plenty of knives out there with the same materials and build quality for half this price. This ain't a great trend.

Yes see I don't have as much of a problem with this one. I agree with you on some of their knives but in this case there are a lot of high-end touches. There's the micro milling which isn't inexpensive for them to do. And then all of the anodized pieces like the clip in the pivot collar and the backspacer. Plus the handles are anodized. Is it a little high? Probably. Is it very very high? Not in my opinion. Thanks

@@KnivesFAST I think that's a totally fair assessment of the price. I love BB's designs so if I had the spare change floating around, I'd probably drop that on one of his knives. So I was probably hasty in calling out this particular knife for the price, but a lot of other WE knives definitely seem much too high for what you get. Besides, you know a heck of a lot more about bringing a knife to market than I do and where those costs are incurred when deciding on price. So I can agree with ya on this one 👍At the very least I could get this on WMK for a fair bit less than $300 😂

@@KnivesFASTMiguron is over there micromilling and kicking tail for $150-$170. Kubey is Micromilling and anodizing for $90 and under!! No excuse for WE.

It's not an inexpensive knife being designer and all the other touches you mention. $300 is probably a fair price. That said, WE feels overpriced in general. It isn't always because they aren't worthy of the price tag they put on a knife (not always), rather it seems that for mass-produced knives, it leaves them room to trim their margins. I could be way off but it feels like a bit of a money grab as they restructure sencut/civivi/WE.

Yeah that's kind of the way I feel. But I don't think we're talking about a lot here. I think 10 or $15 cheaper would have made a huge difference if you know what I mean. But it's a amazing design and a well carried out build. Thanks
