What a trout! - Sea trout Fishing Sweden

What a trout! but I lost it, I know this does not count but I can show you. That's not forbidden.
This was taking place in April by the west coast of Sweden. We usually meet up for the premiere for Sea trout 1st of April. We had a awesome weekend with a lot of fish. Biggest 2 kg.

Now that must have been a huge fish! 4-5 kg fish behave like that, like a submarine. That fish will be back, hope you catch it one day. All the best, Eivind B.

Thank for you comment Eivind. I had 2 nice size followers in the cast before the take. So I do know it was a trout. But it behaved strange and was so strong. I have a theory ☝️…..I think it was a big fish and I think I hooked it wrong. Maybe at the side or in the back of it. Ones I did take a 8kg salmon on a 6 rod, and I have to say this was stronger. So everything was so strange. But you right I will not give it up ;)….ha en strålande dag och en fin 17:e mai.

Your trout fishing adventures are always a blast to follow trout fishing season just started over here! Caught some wild brook trout right in the middle of the city in my last video/ adventure gotta love it only thing better would be if more kids my age would fish!!

I m on Lysekil, and i never was fishing on this place,i have some questions if you can help on it: 1.What ar the good lures to catch sea trot 2.How to identify the spot (deep or shallow water) with algae or stone? 3.what is the perfect time to catch,morning or late on night...Or is all time... Thanks!

Hello! Thanks for questions. I just fish with flies but do a search on internet or KZfaq and you find fishermen fishing with lures. For spring and autumn they go shallow so don’t need to go deep. They are closer to shore than you think. Sea trout can be everywhere so hunt them from shore to shore. If they are in one place one day they can be at different spot the day after. Don’t stand to long at one spot move around . That’s my best tip.
