my opinion here is that we need to start including taehyung more in conversations about best vocalists in kpop bc that man has been singing LIVE at every promotion and he has sounded exactly like the studio recordings every single time but he’s adding his own twists as well❤❤❤❤

True, that's why they nominated only him for best live vocal performance of the year. But they later took the nomination out and I don't really know the reason why. But his vocals in live performances are superb, harmonious and powerful.

V is a multitalented multifaceted artist - he excels in everything he does, but I fell hard for his deep soulful voice first and foremost. What his voice does to my soul whenever I listen to him singing is inexplicable. Then I started to dive deeper and fell for his charm, his visuals (duh), his dance, etc. But when I finally learned more about his heart, then it was crystal clear that I ain't going nowhere. He's beautiful inside and out. He's the most selfless, caring & supportive human being. He can be competitive, goofy, silly & mischievous, but all just blends into this pure gigantic heart that is so endearing. And that beauty shines through his music as well. He once said that rather than making music that explodes, he preferred ones that can comfort & heal his listeners. He has one of the biggest clout in the world, but he doesn't care one bit. People say it's like fame doesn't affect him. Even his friends say he's still the same, then and now. I'm excited to see what he'll bring to the table next. I'm sure it's something of the highest quality, just like he is. Thank you for your honest review.

This is a masterpiece of an album. A lot of artists refuse to let the instrumentation take the reins and they always have to be in the spotlight. I think Taehyung is so successful with his music because of how humble he is. He really just does it because he loves it, and the sincerity that bleeds through is what endears us to him. Thank you for your reaction! You should check out V’s Rainy Days video, he almost raps in it :))

Taehyung's relationship with his entire team (actors, dancers, the band, the staff) left me even more in love with that beautiful man🥹❤️ It's so cute to see him interact with everyone so naturally and so close. The work environment stops being work with him around, Taehyung makes people feel comfortable with him. He's someone so warm, with so much charisma, that his joy and enthusiasm is contagious, it's impossible not to adore him, not to smile when you see him happy, know someone like him or more precisely him is to win in life. More than co-workers, they end up becoming a beautiful family, who welcomed Taehyung and made him feel free, he enjoyed working with them so much that it comes across the screen. I can only thank the entire team who was with him for treating Taehyung with respect and affection, the result of that was seeing him with a beautiful smile in each behind-the-scenes video, sharing moments with the team, having a good time, and creating beautiful memories 🥹❤️

Love your analogy of V with dessert😅. Yes V is a gorgeous dessert , decadent but needed. This album has brought V to the forefront and showcased what a gem BTS has. Loving your videos for the long-haul, man. So respectful and knowledgeable of all the artists; the musicality, curiosity and open-mindedness you have to be able to cover and enjoy as many different genres as you do is awesome and so rare frankly. "Rich" was the perfect way to describe V's voice- laid-back and smooth like hot chocolate. (Saxophone is woodwind not brass, just fyi- due to the reed in the mouthpiece). Please keep doing what you do!

That’s “V’s” voice pitched up in the beginning of “For Us” he has a unique way of pronouncing words that is so cool. “For Us” hits differently. It evokes longing and such emotion. I wish it was longer. The blend with this amazing band was just the best. Great reaction!

Taehyung was the member to go on multiple programs that were designed for live singing, performed with a live band everywhere, and he’s the first member to get a Vocal Performance nomination at MAMA. There’s no voice sweeter than his.

His album really feels like a piece of his heart. Like he said, these are songs that resemble him and I couldn’t be any happier with the direction of his solo sound and artistry. Slow dancing is my absolute favorite once I watched this performance. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen him be happier. These songs were made to be performed live with a band and he delivered in every single performance video. He really appreciates his band and as a result many people who watch along have also been able to appreciate them too, loving that he shines the love he receives on them. V is genuine and down to earth and his album really peeled back the pop idol image that being in bts automatically gives to him. Cant wait to see what direction he moves in with his future releases. He’s predictable as we knew he loves jazz but he can be a wildcard since his skills and talents are so wide. Thank you for your reaction! Loved the way you described his voice 😂

I can't stop listening to Tae's EP. My favourite track wasn't performed here but it has a lo-fi hip hop beat you will love, RAINY DAYS. There is a video! Also you should check out 'Jungkook: Live at Audacy'. Another mini compilation of songs from his album with 5 different stages. Really cool.

Thank you for this reaction Knox! Your breakdown and interpretation is always a pleasure to watch. Some people likened Taehyung's voice to a rich topnotch whiskey. I think of his voice as a warm, luxurious bath that you just sink into, maybe with a glass of bubbly on the side. Your decadent and rich dessert works, too, except that we can never get enough. Excellent Reaction! TaeTae's voice is definitely rich, sultry, sexy, deep and captivating. You definitely feel a range of emotions when he sings. I love his Layover Album which I play on repeat and his band is awesome especially the saxophonist Jacob Scesney who is a Multi-Grammy winning Woodwind Specialist from California. Yes, Kim Taehyung aka BTS V or TaeTae has a wide range and can go really high and you will see that when you watch his solo song "Stigma" especially live. I think you would also love his solo song Singularity and my favorite the Singularity MV and Brilliant Singularity Live Stage Mix. I really like your hat. If you discovered Tiny Desk Korea you could as well discover Killing Voice. It is a performance mainly about singing. The ones I recommend are NCT 127 and DREAM and for sure my boys TVXQ and my beloved Red Velvet and EXO. For more ggs there is APINK and MAMAMOO that I enjoyed. For soloists loved TAEYEON the most.

I am so incredibly proud of our 7 bc not only are they successful together as a band but also as solo artists. So many bands have broken up in the past and the artists then go to pursue their solos (most of them broke up bc they actually wanted to do solos) but the fact that they all have decided together to take a break off of group activities not only bc of the enlistment. Yoongi himself said if the pandemic wouldn’t have been they would’ve taken a break off of group activities. And now they all have debuted in their solo careers (the rap line has been a little longer) and they are in a position to possibly say „guys let’s break up“ bc now they are all independent and not dependent on each other anymore, BUT they still chose not to tells you everything you need to know about BTS. Yoongi and Joon have been pranked in the past after their debut and they had to choose between solo careers and group activities without the blink of an eye they chose group activities. They’ve all said that they wouldn’t be here if it wouldn’t have been for all 7 members and they will go down this path together. Those guys have worked themselves up from the bottom of the food chain in the music industry, have been mistreated by show hosts (also in the US) have faced immense xenophobia, hate and other stuff, and yet they still continued. The fact that they got to do their solos and show their individual style, show their personalities and we got to know our members even more makes me even happier. Yoongi said to Taehyung that the concert after the enlistment period when they have written a new album will be a concert like no other, bc they have found their personal and individual strengths as artists and individuals. The true colours of BTS are going to shine thru and each one of them gets to shine and I think that is so beautiful. So I just wanted to say that I loved your reaction and all of your BTS reactions so far, bc you actually go in depth with what you say and don’t judge a book by its cover. BTS has a storyline walking thru the albums, their lyricism is on another level and performance wise I think I don’t even have to mention it. Thank you for taking your time and getting to know Tae‘s talent 💜🫶🏻

Thank you for your reaction! I love this set for TDK. He could have gone on a big US promo but he chose to do things like this because it’s all about the music and musicianship with him. He lets everyone in the band shine and he is that velvety chocolate, decadent layer on the top. His album was recently recognised in the iHeartRadio awards through a public vote and this is why. His voice is like nectar for the soul!
