Been playing 60 years...35 on various stages professionally ...won numerous awards...but this guy plays stuff I havent even dreamed of yet...met him at a "meet and greet" at one of his concerts and have taken his guitar workshop when he was in town...very nice, humble and talented man....IMHO hes the greatest in the US....thanks for the music Tommy...

What we just witnessed is the BEST guitar player living and otherwise. And one hell of a NICE guy!!! That performance was beautifully crafted and played to perfection. BRAVO as always Tommy!!! And when you think it couldn’t get any better he sings a few lyrics at the right time. Amazing!!! The funny thing is the people who watch these videos and go to his concerts (seen him five times) are all guitar players. And a lot of the guitar players are good. But when you look around the room and Tommy‘s playing everyone is just shaking their head in disbelief and smiling at the performance. Everybody feels better about themselves after seeing Tommy and we are lucky to have him at this moment in time!!! Enjoy the holidays Tommy and Happy New Year!!!

Wow, I remember seeing a video of Tommy playing this live and thinking how special and unique this approach is. You can truly hear the emotions of the song in each note (and when he softly sings behind his instrument). This is so very subtle and quite complex at the same time, which is the genius of the arrangement. It exposes the musician and IMHO takes courage to perform this way. Listening to Tommy play, I can't help but compare this arangement with Willie Nelson and in my mind hear the two of them playing together. They both have the same work ethic too.
