This guy is a SJW. Joe Rogan is a SJW. Anytime anyone may over react to someone’s right wing mindset joe will hurry up and have him on his show so he can stick up for him. We all mistakes but we will all figure it out together. Making the term social justice warrior a derogatory term isn’t very helpful. I know the ones who claim that title often get it wrong but this guy is speaking of looking for the humanity of the intention.

This is a dumb comment. Are you assuming all whites people know what an altar looks like? This black man would know more about KKK lifestyle than the majority of white men.
@iamenobius23394 жыл бұрын
@@TheJohnnystockman No. You're the one assuming what I meant. I was suggesting that it's sweet that there was no racial tension in the conversation.
@TheJohnnystockman4 жыл бұрын
I am Enobeus nope I’m still right. Why should there be racial tension. You are assuming because one is white and one is black there could be tension. Both are normal nice people. There is no reason to have tension.
@iamenobius23394 жыл бұрын
@@TheJohnnystockman Here's why I think you're trolling. You can't say I assume one thing, and say you're still right when that thing isn't true, your reason has changed, and the logic you're using has holes. For example, them being nice guys was, and is, my point. However, to say that it is normal that people are nice is a falsehood imo. Not to mention on topics as personal as this. If can not see, or choose not to, how in a lot cases a white guy asking that question could have been intentionally offensive, taken as such, even if it wasn't, there is no point in us commenting any further.

I’d love to be able to help this guy in some way.

Most of them have also only met the trashy black people. All they know is gangsters and rapists and gangster rapists. An intelligent black man coming to them and talking to them and actually listening to them is certainly something they never experience, similar to how a black person who has only ever dealt with white trash will be shocked when decent white folk treat them with respect.

I once worked with a racist guy that got hired on with us.After a few weeks,he invited myself and another coworker to his acreage. He confessed to me that he was racist but thought I was cool because I was the only one to introduce myself to him when I arrived to work on his first day while everyone else ignored him up until I started introducing him to everyone. I was the only brown person working there,everyone else were white. He liked the fact that I out worked everyone and did it with a smile on my face. When I asked him why he was racist, he said it was because he had brown/immigrant bosses at three of his previous jobs and they were "assholes". I laughed and said that hundreds of white people puss me off everyday but I'm not racist.I could see him get quiet,looking up as he was processing what i said and then he said "Fuck,I didn't even think of it that way.Shit." My other coworker and I laughed as he kinda turned red.He shook my hand and patted me on the shoulder and then we went off roading and shooting guns.That was a fun day.

I witnessed a klan rally when i was about 11 years old and it was exactly as he described. I was staying the night and my neighbors house and we snuck out to go ride our skateboards through a freshly paved strip of road across the street from our neighborhood, where a new apartment complex was being built and the street lamps had recently been installed. This was something we would occasionally do on sundays when there was no work, during the day. At the end of the paved strip we noticed a large amount of light coming from the woods near a pond. We walked down the trail about 50 yards and we saw exactly what he described, klansmen in hoods and robes atanding in a circle chanting around a burning cross. We didn’t understand what was going on at that time, despite being from south carolina, we lived in a relatively diverse, poor neighborhood, so racism was not something that we were taught or understood. It was still haunting despite our lack of understanding. I am grateful that it was just my friend and I that were there that night and that our black and hispanic friends did not join us for that sleepover that weekend.

This is the way to treat racism and hate weather it's color ,race ,religion ,ethnicity, or nationalism. You treat by sitting with the other side and trying to understand where they come from, and showing them that you're not different than they are, we're all the same. Humans are such advanced intelligent and intellectual creatures that we can easily relate to each other and see that what we have incommon is more than our differences. Big respect to this man right here

This guy knows how it's done. He doesn't convert anyone, he educates them and then let's them convert themselves. Doesn't always work. As he says "ignorance can be cured, stupidity cannot" some people will never change and he accepts that. But it's pointless bothering with those people

The Bible does not. Moses married an Ethiopian woman and Aaron and his wife tried to get onto Moses for it and God almost killed Arron and his wife for it

Alex Adsit Regardless of the skin color of Moses, the point remains the same, they were concerned about Moses marrying outside of his own people. And to those who think that God is only blessing white people or think that Moses was white, they see Moses marrying an Ethiopian. The racist ideology is defeated regardless.
@RemiOlutimayin4 жыл бұрын
3 things: 1) It wasn't Aaron's wife, it was their sister. God struck her with leprosy and they had to exile her for a time until it passed. God equated it to a father spitting in her face. That's how much God really hates discrimination. 2) His wife was from Midian, not Ethiopia (which already existed at the period). Don't buy into generalizations. 3) The Egyptians looked down on the Hebrews from the time of their first banquet with Joseph's brothers. In the books of Moses, God says they should treat strangers with love and to remember that they were once strangers in a foreign country.

He's a blues player, over the years of growling your voice, being in clubs and bars full of cigarette smoke has gotta take a toll on ones voice chords. I bet his singing is soul touching. I myself could listen for hours to him, especially his message. Could you imagine pulling stuff like this off in that culture? We need to celebrate peoples accomplishments, and specify their race, not to create a racial divide but to open the eyes of those that wish to divide. Yoda has a scratchy voice, but everyone listens because of the wisdom. Many great things in this world get over looked due to minor annoyances, like wearing a helmet on a hot day while on a motorcycle "oh I'll be fine, just going up the road..". If you aren't racist yourself, picture yourself being so and then imagine what it must feel like to free your mind of that ignorance...I'm sure all the ones that he has helped switch have moments where they remember how they used to think and feel really bad. I couldn't imagine hating people or thinking they're below me for no reason other than their skin.
