I feel natural location better than CGI. Atleast heavy VFX ke liye CGI is must lekin normal interiors to real location honi chahiye like ghar ke andar ka shoot and low budget films. I like filming on set. I am a Mass Comm student and I really love Mani Ratnam's way of filmmaking.

Why raavan? Just see the recent PS1 and PS2. Whether you like the films or not is a different thing, but the spectacular visuals and grandeur that comes with practical filming is breathtaking.

1)Research and development is what most makers don't want to do. This problem is in serials too . They will rather copy than do something original. 2)One thing with Adipurush I noticed is that in the announcement trailer and set picture of Lankesh we can see a totally different Adipurush. Ravan actually looks Indian king than Viking. It seems, initially ,things were going right but suddenly everything got scrapped. 3) No wonder why Brahmastra VFX looked so good but live locations just add life to a movie like it did for Raavan. 4)I hope you make a video on Sanjay Leela Bhansali and keep using 🐈. It's cute. And I can't stop laughing at the end 🤣🤣

okay the hdri thing , its basically a 360 degree panorama with multiple levels of exposures combined , thats what you said as well basically , but the silver ball doesnt help to make the hdri , you go with a camera , a very sharp standard lens like a 50 f1.4 , set it on manual , have it stop down , set the camera on a tripod and start taking pictures using exposure bracketing , generally +/- 3 stops works , 5 is better , then you combine it and to test it out , you use spheres with different types of material , to check diffused color specular/roughness , gloss / metallic highlights and also the how transmissive properties are working thus there are 4 balls with different types of materials at 28:08
