I hope the Kostial family sues for defamation, I’ll be reacting and following this case on this video production. The defense lawyer invents her thoughts which is so inappropriate and you are using a forensic psychologist to back your one sided views without having Ally there to tell you what her thoughts were. This is the worst story I’ve ever seen.

For that to happen 'parents' needed to be something other than naive little brats conditioned into magical thinking & socially accepted behavior themselves who are bringing their kids up with the same nonsense society has tried to spoon-feed people for centuries. It would require critical thinking. If you have a kid 'being bubbly & getting along with everyone' that's a red flag. Either your kids don't have ANY personality or they're covering something up that they don't want you to see.

i feel like Ally’s home life contributed to how attached she was to him. usually people in households with emotional unavailability cause attachment issues later in life. not only that, if this was her first “relationship”, she obviously wouldn’t have known how to act or how to take it, and since she was new to things like this, she would immediately assume they were serious. i personally believe that her environment and upbringing played a major factor in how she perceived the relationship to be, and also may be mentally unwell, considering the amount of times he told ally that it wasn’t a serious relationship. i’m not defending him at all, however these are just things to keep in mind.

It was a red flag to me when I heard that one of her big reasons for going to college was to meet someone and “get married and have kids.” I don’t know why that’s so odd to me. Maybe it’s because when I went to college it definitely wasn’t to meet a man. It was to get an education so I didn’t need to rely on a man. So that I could be successful on my own. Yes, I wanted to get married someday, but way after college. Hearing that, I wasn’t surprised she became so obsessive about the first guy she met. He clearly was t interested but she manipulated him, harassed him and lied to him. She pushed him to his limit and he snapped in an alcohol, cocaine induced rage. Did she deserve it? Absolutely not. But he isn’t some psychopath. This is tragic story all around. I have no idea how her parents aren’t mortified. No wonder they don’t want to read all the texts. He blocked her before, so he knew how to keep her from bugging him without having to shoot her. We like to believe our society is more evolved than this, but there are still plenty of women being pressured to get married and being told that a huge point to going to college is to have a big selection of men to choose from to increase the odds of a good marriage. I don’t agree with that thinking, but they don’t deserve the death penalty for it. He knew she wanted that from him and instead of blocking her after telling her to go find someone who wanted that, he had sex with her and shot her when he thought she might be pregnant or that she was too demanding. He was interested in her, just not for anything other than sex. He knew she wanted more from him and he definitely could get casual sex at his age in our current culture, so it’s all on him that he didn’t leave her blocked and alone, never mind not loading up a gun and taking her to a remote place and shoot her.

It annoyed me that the mom says "oh she tells me everything" but doesn't want to know what was really going on in her daughter's life by reading her texts. Her mom's parenting style is probably why she was ill-prepared for college life. Two people that were about as mismatched as two people could be. Girls/women, think more of yourselves than marriage being your end all/be all in life. This woman tried to manipulate a man into marrying her and paid with her life, unfortunately.

It’s NOT that the Mom didn’t want to know what was really going on in her daughter’s life when she was alive. It’s more likely those text messages would be very traumatic for the parents to read after they lost her. They have ALREADY experienced enough trauma (which can likely be seen on an MRI scan.) People really need to be more sensitive to these people’s pain. FFS, can we JUST be a little more empathetic for other people’s suffering??? It’s NOT that hard! 🤦‍♀️

I am going to say something here, that is going to be very unpopular. And most likely, will be taken wrong by some. First off, she did not deserve to be violently taken from this world by anyone. I always advocate for women, and girls, to be heard and to be able to be safe in their everyday lives. BUT, in my opinion, she seemed very obsessed with him. She was WAY into him. He did not reciprocate those feelings back to her, at least not in the text conversations. She honestly was riding the line of stalker-ish behavior. This girl seemed very smart, well educated. Someone who also seemed to care a lot for those closest to her. I do not believe that she was pregnant at all. I think it was a ruse to keep him in her life. He was slipping away from her, and she had to pull something off to keep him close to her. There is no way she would conaume alcohol if she were truly pregnant. No way. And her constantly making remarks about the home pregnancy tests, and not being able to possibly hide her belly.....well, it drove him crazy. No, he shouldn't have taken hwr life. Its qrong on every level. It's too bad, that he didn't feel safe or comfortable enough to come to his parents about this issue that he seemed to be struggling with. Im sure they would have advised him in an appropriate way. So many lives ruined here. And a young lady, who is gone forever, over something that may or may have not even been true at all.
