In this video I will take you to work with me every step of the way. We start by getting ready at the hotel before the flight, ride the shuttle to the airport, Prepare the flight at the Operational Control Center and go through Security Screening to get Airside. We spend some time in the Airport VIP Lounge as the flight has a bit of delay. This gives us time to get some food and drinks. We then hop into the Airbus A319 via the Air Bridge, and perform a round trip from Dakar Blaise Diagne International Airport AIBD (DSS) to Abidjan Felix Houphouet Boigny Airport (ABJ). It is a night flight and a lot of briefing and checklists are done due to the APU being inoperative. Late return, but it is all worth it.

hi, i love your vids. I am from Belgium and i am graduating high school in 3 years. I want to become pilot, and apply for CAE oxford Brussels after i have finished college. Im just always worried about the assessment program/selection program. I watched your video about it but for some reason it just scares me and i am scared that if, if i fail i will lose my dream of becoming pilot. It isn't an option for me but again , if. I know that i have a long way but these thoughts about my future keep me working at school and is the reason why i like school. My maths and physics are decent, do you recommend choosing more maths or more physics for next year? Thank you in advance, I love your motivation video's and your day in a life of a pilot video's keep up the work and know that for young admiring people like me you are a hero. Ps: does it bother pilots when coming in the cockpit to have a talk with the pilot, my dad once told me to do it but i didn't want to because i thought that its illegal or something haha, i thought it causes delays or something.

Awesome, awesome, awesome 👏🏾 I am a black man from United States, who is a flight enthusiast I enjoy flying in simulators, seeing a young, confident black brother from Africa as a pilot fills me with enormous pride, we do see black pilots here for in states, but once I saw a whole crew from Africa walking thru JFK I just wanted to walk with them they looked so majestic, I couldn’t stop smiling, what a beautiful sight, anyway my brother keep doing what your doing, I will subscribing to see your next journey, simply awesome 👏🏾 👏🏾

@@jmstm6748 I had about 1700 hours when I was hired at my first job at a regional airline. Around 7500 when hired at a legacy carrier. I believe it can vary quite a bit depending on carrier and industry demand.

I had to give up my dream of becoming a pilot due to colour blindness. I later tried to become an ATC. But for that too, colour blindness is a problem. But I still can’t give up my aviation enthusiasm.😭❤️

@@wasted2106 people aren't going to care, if you let the color of your skin determine what you can and cannot do, you won't ever get there. In fact, airline pilots are 13% black in the USA. The percentage of black people in the USA as a while is? That's right, 13%. Skin color is not discriminated against, you will do fine.

Hey FlyjJV, I am so excited to see how much vlogs are giving aircraft enthusiasts these opportunities to see what pilots do day by day. I am a former airline employee, and back in the days before 9/11, while it was not a right but a privilege, we could fly the jump seats of our airlines. We had a fleet of A320s, A321s ,and A340s. #flybywire! I will never forget those times and watching your video brings back memories. Thank you!

The favourite airport I landed was had to be Skardu airport in Pakistan (OPSD) It was not about the airport, it was about the views. Those views can never be replaced!

Port Elizabeth South Africa, the approach for the runway that is mostly in use is above the coast and there is a sharp bank to the right turning in to final, and you see the beautiful blue water and ships, I love it!

I have never stop dreaming to become a pilot due to the love I have for mathematics, further mathematics and physics l always have a view to become a pilot in future while studying those subjects

Good performance. When I was in the secondary school my dream job was to become a pilot by attending the school in Miami dad in USA. I am impressed please keep it up.
