I feel like you completely undersold the fact that EVERYTHING is coated in DLC , even down to the hardware. For me personally, that was a huge selling point.

I dunno, I’ll be shocked if it’s better than the padre. also wish it had a hollow grind. That would take it to another level. Now if we could get a contoured, deep hollow ground padre, that would be absolute peak KUNWU

I bought it…sigh…I’m blaming you MC. I couldn’t pass this Kunwu up. I love front flippers! I don’t own Kunwu, vanax, or DLC. I have my eyes on a Quiet Carry Drift L and a CRK umnumzaan. I hope they don’t drop soon. My wallet probably can’t handle it right now.

Not my favorite blade shape but everything else looks fabulous, especially the coating, the texture and the clip. If it had a backspacer that matched the pivot collar, I'd entertain the idea of actually paying $400 for it.

The scales and DLC are gorgeous, but the blade shape just isnt my jam. The completely blunt snout just isnt my thing. Also dont really dig the large front flipper area. Also looks like the lockbar access isnt great. Hoping Sergio does something in this finish thats a slight bit pokier up front.

I really enjoy my Kunwu Django! Still hate front flippers! I agree, 90% of what he shows, you can't afford or wouldn't even spend that time of money on a pocket knife. When the world goes to shit none of these pocket knives will matter anymore! Better have a knife bush knife!

Kunwu strikes again. Not saying it isn't worth it, but I do hate to see the price creep. Especially on the DLC versions, I think it's wasteful to use Vanax. Use Elmax instead and lower the price. Same edge retention, nearly as tough, and no real worries about corrosion with the coated blade.
