ACT is the most progressive - 60 days for whatever use, Club use is extra, can have normal number plates, is not a Club Permit but is a class of registration.

I don't think you emphasized the hardest part enough, finding a club! It can be an exhaustive mission and has put me off in the past.. the "registers" for car clubs on Vic roads is terrible and outdated, trying to find clubs that accept your make and model, and then some clubs require attendance of their monthly or periodic events to maintain your membership, or they can only process your application on a certain date or public event.. pretty frustrating based on my experiences to date

That's why I love SA now lol I used to live in NSW and Normally rego is almost 1500 per car lol I pay less than half that now in SA.

Sounds like a fuck about even ill say in the uk when it hits 40 its classic no tax no mot anymore other wise its just a car modern classic insurance is offered beyond 20yrs old

Are you even able to drive your car for fun on club rego? Sounds like youre only allowed to take it out for events or for maintenance, atleast thats how it sounds for NSW
