What are electric impulses? Nikola Tesla wrote often about impulses in his 1890's lectures and patents. Impulses are not the same as pulses, because they are resonant half waves.
There are current and voltage impulses, and both create displacement currents, which Tesla used for his Radiant energy experiments. Learn all about Impulses in this video!

It's a battle to see who will win the war of terminology and jargon! There are certainly many words for the same things. Magical terminology has forked off and many of it's words are taboo now... I wonder whether mainstream could ever accept the word aether anymore. Nonetheless, many experimenters name energies and substances that are subtle and all-pervasive. We need a common language for electrical engineering (name of a great book by Eric Dollard). I found the aetheric substance theories of Rudolph Steiner and Walter Russell to be very useful for looking into what aether is. By learning to recognize the qualities associated with the different polarities of charge, we can get back to experimenting and learning. Our society has focussed long enough on electronic semiconductor components and we now need to look at materials and circuits that harness impulse currents, as well as long-distance magnetic induction, and ionic flow.

The way I have learned is that we live in an electromagnetic universe which is true but it's not 2 things it's one - Dielectric. The beginning is from counter space measured as Force and Motion and the OTHER half of the Dielectric field is measured as Inertia and Acceleration. It has BOTH parts in EVERY circuit but only force and motion are noted. Thank you Ivo for making this distinction clearer. C. P. Steinmetz pointed this out in electrical waves and impulses 1911{?}. Thank you again exciting stuff!

Nice to see your spirit, the back Voltage of an inductor scales pretty high on magnitude, after getting a big voltage impulse it can be fed to a big copper plate, through a diode, you can actually fine tune the time of voltage transference to the plate. The thing is you get a very high voltage to a copper plate in a very short period of time, lets say 10uS 50KV, very nice, what next ?? I suppose you get another identical copper plate situated at a certain distance in the backyard, the important thing, is to characterize : 1. Energy transfer per impulse at x distance, given air dielectric value, metal area. 2. You expect an electrical copy of the original impulse with a shorter amplitud on receiving plate ? 3. Little I have read about, mythology states Tesla was capable and did fed a car with a system like this, a car, that means 40KW around, a lot of energy for a far electrical power source, and is this is appealing magic that we would like to understand, was that distant car electrica wireless feeding possible ? 4. Also mythology states the shape of the plate to "move the ether or conducting medium" was very important, they state the ether as to be an hyperfluid or it behaves with properties of fluids, probable some inertial mass behaviour like dynamics. Is it THE electric field with inverse of d2 law the energy transfer limit ? Or as mythology states the sudden electrical surface appearance triggers another atmospheric type of dynamis, wich furthers in a great manner the energy transmission capability of space in between ? This is a matter of further processing, no doubt about it. TKS

The full sine wave shown on the scope - when the spark gap fires and the scope shows the signal drop below the 0 volts reference line and take on a negative voltage - may be occurring due to the fact that when the capacitor top discharges (say, 10 volts was there) the 10 volts now appears on the opposite (bottom) plate. You can use a half wave voltage doubler to shift a sine wave so that its 0 volts reference line is shifted upward by the peak voltage of the peak to peak signal. EXAMPLE: a 20 volt peak-to-peak with a 0 volts reference (10 volts in the positive 1/2 cycle, -10 volts during the negative 1/2 cycle) - the entire sine wave shifts upwards by 10 volts and it's like a 10 volts DC offset has been added to the sine wave, putting its "zero volts reference line" all the way up to 10 volts. It is done with a 'clamping diode', this action. The 10 volts DC offset is not provided by any battery or power source. The clamping diode gets charged to the peak voltage (10volts in this example) during the positive 1/2 cycle of the sine wave, then does not lose that 10 volts during the negative 1/2 cycle due to the use of diodes. A 2nd capacitor gets charged to 10 volts during the negative 1/2 cycle of the sine wave, but from an existing reference of 10 volts that's still present on the clamping diode. Thank you kindly for an excellent video!

have you tried shielding the outer edge of the coils? or a 3rd coil that is an intermediary that helps balance the transmission between the coils? it might allow you to run higher resonances. have you tried running a small coil inside of a larger coil against an absorber coil. im thinking about the zero point between them where the magnitude (V) becomes flow (I). its not an actual point in space but am i right in saying that the coils produce a resistive force between each other, inverting the charge being transmitted? charge is not the right word,do you have any videos explaining how the coils work just by themselves, or is it only this high voltage high frequency electricity that allows coupling?

So much goodness in this!!thinking in terms of flow of the wave, rotate the point of view on the graph, and think of the wave form in a third dimensional representation, as we currently view it as top-down, 2-D. As a way of visualizing to the theorize further; the wave follows an S-curve along the plane/wire, but is represented as a line increasing/decreasing along the wire. Thinking in terms of the wave as part of a generating field in a taurus shape around the wire, both positive and negative (above and below the plane. If each wave is only representative of a portion of the energetic field, then we can conclude the equal and opposite reaction will generate a corresponding counter wave effect (in essence a bubble blown, and then the periphery of the bubble compressing as the field collapses, as the electrical wave moves down the wire.) Really hard to write, but makes sense to me in a visual representation, and really follows your flow of consciousness. Just trying to better understand what the current IS in the bubble/water analogy, and how the three components correlate together… magnetic, electric, current… as one concept. Many thanks for the mental gymnastics! Always enjoy a great conceptual smorgasbord of ideas!

Very good presentation, I really enjoy your experiments and the methodical approach you take. In return let offer some additional perspective on what I believe you are observing in the inductors. I take in a lot of different perspectives from investigators like yourself. One of those was Joseph Newman. Although I disagree with much of what Newman espoused, I believe he was right about one thing. That is that there is right-hand-rule gyroscopic action taking place in the charge and discharge of an inductor. Specifically, a charging inductor produces a back-current as the magnetic field expands. This back-current is the reason the voltage across the inductor starts out high initially and then drop to the steady-state value (I.e. that due to only the resistance of the coil when the magnetic field is fully formed). When the inductor is then opened, what was a back-current when being charged becomes a forward-current when collapsing becoming in essence it’s own current source driven by collapsing magnetic field. The voltage across the coil must of course follow suit with the current. I am not arguing that energy is not stored in the magnetic field. But the difference between the self-inductance of a coil versus the same length of wire not coiled is due to the flux lines expanding beyond the physical boundary of the wire has no opportunity to create additional back-current in a straight wire as opposed to a coiled wire where it will cross additional conductors, thus the much higher self-inductance of a coil. I believe having a physical appreciation for the source of inductive behavior in incomplete without understanding the induced currents created during formation and collapse of the magnetic field. I hope this makes sense to you and adds to the vast understanding you have already acquired. Keep up the great work!

Slayer Exciter Circuits are resonant impulsed, I suppose if you cross a diode across the secondary terminal, you can get the half-wave resonant impulses from this too, and already of a high voltage due to the many more turns on this coil. The resonance also doesn't need to be tuned, the circuit already auto-tunes!

I am also able to get impulses from a transistor if I set it up like Tesla did with magnetically quenched spark gap, meaning it slams off the transistor as soon as the current flows. This is the basis of Bedini's 'solar tracker' units. I charge LiFePO4 for my ebike with 6Mhz 10amp unidirectional impulses, and the batteries never get hot and have more capacity than normal.
@MasterIvo

6 Mhz? 6 million sparks per second? that is a lot. are you sure? How did you measure? 10 amp seems low for an impulse, but at those speeds its rather high. It's a fun way to charge your caps!

I’d like to suggest that you design a series of tests focused on 1/4 wave impulses into a system with electrically isolated primary and secondary coils (only sharing the same ground) and having a weak magnetic coupling (he felt the coupling was primarily radiant not magnetic). This was where Tesla ended his funded research and where he observed the greatest effects (Colorado Springs). Its termed as ”displacement current" but its really just the removal of the magnetic field. The SG allows the energy to travel through a dielectric (atmosphere/water) in forms of ions like two electrodes in a medium(battery). The atmosphere acts like an ocean on the speed of 10x. ions that splash the circuit initially surround all of the electronics connected to it while sending joules to all of the capacitors at the same time. I noticed that the capacitors see this as a zero phase due to the energy not having to transform from magentic to ionic back to magnetic.

Dear Ivo, do you have any info or circuit for electronic switching the coils on and off, alternative to mechanical switching like relay or reed switches? This maybe 6:39? For example I would like to find resonance of a coil using a digital signal generator, but connecting a coil directly to the signal generator might damage it, so I need a circuit that switches the coil (which can work with more power). To get a true back emf pulse we need true 'off' possibility, mechanical switches do that (they do break the connection), but for example most electronic/solid state relais do not have a true 'connection break', the circuit is not 'open' for the back emf pulse to happen. I hope I have stated my question clearly. By the way I’m Dutch and live in the Netherlands too, seeing the most comments are in English, I thought I ask my question in English too, so the rest can follow. 😊

Also we talk about cold as the absence of heat, heat we know is an energy that could be transfered by Infrared radiation But what if cold is also an energy but has a different polarity than heat and it radiates in waves we still don't have the ability to study
@MasterIvo
@MasterIvo Жыл бұрын
@@michael65556 the following is my (incomplete an probably not correct) I see heat as a vibration, an object when it gains energy it vibrates faster, expanding from the increased energy. but when it becomes saturated and the threshold is reached, it radiates infra red. which again is light, a vibration. but at an extreme high frequency. since I do not believe in atomism, I see mass as bound energy in fields, and these fields can expand. cold would be a reduction of energy, which could come from a displacement current from current impulses (single direction energy flow out of the conductor). so depending on the energy flow into or out of the conductor (displacement current) the conductor can heat up, or cool dowm.

Resonant frequenzy would be 90° out of phase... Does this mean that it would be always, if 90° would be in phase? I ask this question because I have the strong sensation that earths magnetic field is the reason for this. I think he is using 2D for simply this stage of explanation. Notice some questions about other points such as this one above "According to your aether theory: What is voltage? What is current? And are magnetism and dielectricity two sides of the same coin of the aether? I would like to visualize these concepts once and for all." and Ivo answers: "Good questions." This strongly indicates that Ivo himself is trying to get things down in a basic premise and visualization before extruding this into more comprehensive topics - which I would argue the 3D thinking is largely analogous to these questions from the other commenter.

@@MasterIvo the toroid is the most stable fluid shape as it is self-staining ( on many levels), and it may have something to do with propagating electric impulse over a round metallic shape, when you also involve the curl and divergent concepts (that idea may have merits). On another side, the issue historically has been the 2D (visual) presentation of the EM waves. Ones we IMAGINE that the 2D is just e projection of a 3D wave structure (very easy to draw over a round glass bottle) we start to think about the entire electric-magnetic field dynamics in a very different and a lot more natural way.

So if I understand correctly, a capacitor that releases a sudden and rapid voltage from 1 polarity to the other will create a transverse magnetic impulse current, if it is fast enough, towards the opposite polarity of the voltage, the current grows in polarity and strength before rapidly weakening and coming to a stop before it can reverse, while the voltage also continues to shift towards 1 polarity, inducing a unipolar displacement current. While an already present pulsed DC transverse high magnetic current in a coil in 1 polarity will create a rising voltage in the same polarity, and that voltage will rise before weakening and reversing direction to the opposite polarity, inducing a displacement current that will alternate between both polarities, while the magnetic current continues to pulse in 1 polarity. Hence a Dielectric Impulse Displacement Current is not itself the same thing as a transverse magnetic current impulse or voltage impulse, but can created from both of them, do I have that correct? I'm also a bit confused with how you're using the graph, such as at 12:40, Oscilloscopes display positive and negative on top and bottom only with changing levels of intensity, but from the way you're describing it here it sounds as it the voltage displacement currents are actually reversing into the opposite polarity without crossing the middle? Thanks for making this video Ivo, assuming I understand correctly this brings a new level to my understanding.

not correct. fast change in voltage creates a longitudinal wave into or out of the plate. the displacement current can be transverse, but if it is fast enough in changing voltage, it is longitudinal, and NOT magnetic. this is the true Radiant. which can produce a "cold" current

Could you define aether?

@MasterIvo Жыл бұрын
right now, I see the Aether as pure energy (which has inertia). And this energy makes up the magnetic and dielectric fields, which it turn is the basis of all "matter".
@michaelk1589
@michaelk1589 Жыл бұрын
@@MasterIvo Thank you for answer, Im not satisfied tho :D. Because energy is "ability, potential to do work". So you basically said that aether is an ability to do work and this ability makes up magnetic and dielectric fields which turn into matter. TBH I was researching all the aetherists (Fractal Woman, Eric Dollard, Ken Wheeler, Robert Distinti, you and some others) for some years before but year ago I stumbled upon Bill Gaede and he is the only person on planet that made sense of physics. And the problem with both mainstream physics and aether model is that they both perform concept reification which is absolutely forbidden in physical science. Concept reification = treating concepts as physical things (for example "mass affected this object", "love did bring those 2 ppl together", "and then time was affected by black hole and it slowed down", "gravity of sun is pulling on earth" etc). And I see you basically treat energy as something (object that does something ) that creates matter which is exactly concept reification. Matter is matter. Energy does not EXIST since its a concept in which we quantify phenomena so that we can use it in calculations and in building technologies. So I sometimes poke aetherists with socratic questions to prove to myself that indeed there is no rationality in aether model since no one can define it. No offence, I dont condemn your work, perhaps your experiments and calculations are valuable and correct, but explanations... nah. Unless you can define aether without use of concepts that by definition do not exist (exist means to be an object (have shape) and have location in space in relation to other objects (x,y,z from earth, sun, moon, my foot etc). Are you familiar with Bill Gaede? Does it make sense what I wrote? No need to reply, just giving food for thought. But still, if you can give a rational definition of aether Id be glad to read it. Cheers.

@@MasterIvo That's a fair stance, I understand. So that's why I see the problem with aether; nobody has defined it yet so we don't really know what we're talking about. I recommend getting familiar with Bill's work. It's good for brain to get firm distinction between objects and concepts (when it comes to PHYSICS, in everyday language we can of course play with words and with concepts) and concept reification fallacy. This man really sorted a lot of things out. And it does not interfere with math and experiments in any way, they are good. Just the explanations both by mainstream physics and aetherists are lacking consistency because of concept reification. Actually Ken Wheeler stole ideas from Bill and twisted them for his own interpretations of them. Anyhow, don't wanna bother you for too long, good luck with your work, peace.

@@michaelk1589 unfortunately I think you misunderstand everyone you've mentioned so far - all of the aetherists you've mentioned are indeed trying to go towards your desired goal and logic. I think your remarks are demonstrative of a lack of understanding of what each of these folks are trying to accomplish. Do also add to your reading list the papers from Ionel Dinu on this topic. I personally find Ivo's + Ionel's work to be highly complementary and, of course, Ionel has been mentioned by Lori (since you say you're familiar with her) and they have collaborated.

Yellow to White spark = Arc discharge, High current, Low voltage across spark White to Blue spark = Glow discharge, Low current, High voltage across spark You want the voltage across the spark to oscillate rapidly which leads to displacement current. So you want a high frequency oscillation between a glow discharge and an arc discharge.

Tesla was using what we would call infinite impedance. Impedance is the flow of current, so, infinite impedance causes maximum reflection and when we have equal moving charges in opposing directions then no rotating magnetic fields are generated and we have a longitudinal Changing line of Electric Force, I have recently proven that the inverse square law doesn't apply in this scenario using a single high resistance wire as a transmission line that effectively gets all of the changing Charge potential to a vertical wire antenna then then of course has potential with ground and then changing E fields terminating on ground cause the rotating magnetic fields that create a TEM wave for radio use but Longitudinal Magneto Dielectric Waves could also be used for communications. But as nobody else is using this type of system, I am currently using LMD waves to convey the changing charges to an element to create a TEM wave.
