Very good. I am doing a paper that is against the theology that teaches Good works is needed to be saved. This is excellent even four years later as I watch this.

Thank you so much the KJV is still hard to understand after reading daily and I walk in Spirit and still had no idea what the works were and never found anyone that would answer.MAY GOD BLESS YOU BROTHER

And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Hebrews 5:9 We must obey Christ to be saved. The grace is he helps us not to sin through His Holy Spirit when we repent and give our life to Christ.

And their is saved it's unchangable. Since we're his child. We have a new heart upon regeneration. We just obey but not for salvation

Good works are connected with faith, So that would include to some extent obedience when you out work Faith that is directly connected to true belief and away from our selfs and our understanding. If we not not do despite our faith then it is dead. So act in faith in all you do, for his kingdom including others and what are has reviled to you.

Romans 4:1 - What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found? Romans 4:2 - For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God. Romans 4:3 - For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. Romans 4:4 - Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. Romans 4:5 - But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Romans 4:6 - Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, Romans 4:7 - Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Romans 4:8 - Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

Yet turning to the Lord necessarily also means turning away from sin. Paul commends Gentile believers in Thessalonica because they had “turned to God from idols, to serve a living and true God” (1 Thessalonians 1:9). In the Vulgate, the Latin translation of the Bible used by the Church, the Greek word used for “turned” is rendered conversi, the term from which we get the English word “conversion.” We might say, then, that conversion for Paul involves atwofold movement. On one hand, it involves a turning from, that is, it is a movement away from sin. On the other, it also entails a turning to, that is, a movement towards Christ. Both are essential: without turning from sin, we cannot turn to Christ, which is the only way the veil can be removed.

do you think upkeeping hotel plants and believe in faith truly qualifies? I dont think plants qualify for good works to go with faith so my faith must be dead

understand what you're teaching because you left out the next verse to deceive, Ephesians 2:10 “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” then in 1 Peter 4:8 “And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.”
