Nowadays, for electric devices to work more efficiently, they are equipped with VFD, or variable frequency drive.
Such devices have rectification circuits to convert one frequency to another. However this distorts the voltage and current waveforms cause harmonics.
At HIOKI, we offer various devices for harmonics measurement. In this video, we introduce the simplest way to detect them.

Is the Z3210 compatible with CM 4141, I see there a a port near the battery compartment that looks like it is for the Z3210?

Hi Eric-san. The Z3210 is not compatible with CM4141. But it is compatible with the latest model, CM4141-50.

can the Hioki DT4282 do THD with the software cross connect

Hi, Joe-san. Unfortunately, the DT4282 does not have the Bluetooth connectivity function, and it is not able to do the THD measurement.

Hi Durgesh-san. Unfortunately, MR8880 cannot perform harmonic analysis.

Yes, the CM4141-50 is compatible with the Z3210. CM4141-90 is the order number to buy CM4141-50 with the Z3210.
