@phocalty they can, we restrict burqas, not hijabs since the only requirement is to see the face for security reasons.

@@elpocakoca120 wearing any kind of religion symbol is forbidden (so the cross and hijab) in school because children should not be influenced by their friends to believe in a certain religion. It's not discrimination towards Islam.

I love how everyone is doing their own thing, dressed up OR down because they still look put together. Definitely goes against that overly-marketed 'Frenchgirl' stereotype.

There are quite a lot, but you could see many in this video because it was filmed closed to the Opera, where you can actually find a lot of (stylish) Asian people :)

I like that too, but it's still kind of a niche rich people thing. This is filmed in the rich part of Paris. They can afford the cool (and expensive) thrift shops

Like idk if I can just say it’s part of the culture but like 2nd hand shopping is quite popular and really inexpensive. 15€ can get you very far in 2nd hand stores in France.
