It's very well-edited. You should be proud. And I agree with them, it genuinely feels like an advertisement for the site and its features. Well... like a trailer, not an ad. Ads suck. Trailers people look for.

@@marcorc5167 Tomodachi wasn't particularly hard because there is not a lot of action, you have a lot of control in terms of what changes and how, although it took a bit of time, considering the amount of achievements the game ended up receiving. Between the programming and testing it must have taken me a good three weeks to a month.

So much is happening so fast lol I heard one of the devs say Citra and Dolphin are both likely to gain support during 2023. Honestly at that point I'd probably die from excitement

I would totally love to make Nintendo’s Directs for them lol

How did it go? I don’t own a Miyoo Mini, I’ve been using my phone and Steam deck, but handhelds like that have always interested me.

That’s why I love FrontEnds that treat RetroArch as an extension and have achievements integrated. Makes everything more cohesive, especially now that PS2 achievements will definitely require standalone emulators, it’s good to have everything in one place

Don't be this site sucks most achievements are damageless beat the game without dying if you give any type of criticism you bad just get good most of the dev thank they are better than you because they code achievements they never master any of the sets they make

I know right! There’s been so many games I wanted to play but never really found the energy to invest time into them until retroachivements gave me a new motive

With how much they update the site, that would be a bit of an undertaking. I think once the site is updated to the point where it’s practically different from when this video was made, an up to date video covering the new improvements and a broad overlook wouldn’t hurt. Not interested right now but it’s considerable lol

You don’t even need to 100% them to enjoy RA tho, just like achievements for modern systems. I haven’t 100%’d a single game, but seeing my progress and occasionally attempting to get a harder one is still a lot of fun. Plus RA now tracks which games you’ve “beaten”, not 100%’d. So for example, on my profile it shows that I’ve beaten Pokemon Platinum, even if I haven’t 100%’d it. You’ll get a silver medal for beating the game traditionally, and a gold for 100%ing the achievements. So even without going the extra mile and 100%ing everything, you can still track all the games you’ve beaten and the achievements you’ve earned.

That’s exactly what happened to me two years ago, saw this video and went out to make an account. Couldn’t believe I’d never heard of it before! Rn I’m playing Pokemon Platinum and loving it! There are so many things in this game that I either never messed with, or had no idea even existed, that I only do now because I’m trying to get 100% achievements.

I use after effects for editing and photoshop for assets. BTW ME TOO I’ve been waiting for my RP2+ for achievement grinding and cause I prefer playing retro games on a handheld with an ideal form factor. I’ll most likely do a review of it too and test out harder to run games/consoles like GameCube, Wii and 3DS
