What is going on everyone, sorry for the delay but we are back with another video! Today I decided to test out my new Nitto Nt05r Drag Tires and see how they perform vs the Nitto 555r that I usually run on the street. It honestly surprised me! I started & still have a R/T with a built motor. Was going to buy a Scat but the wife wasn’t impressed compared to the R/T & asked me”I thought you were going to upgrade. Why don’t you just get a Hellcat?” Tried to buy a “New” 2023 but dealers are criminals so I bought a 2022 Challenger Widebody Hellcat Redeye with less than 5000 miles. So yes I upgraded. 😂

The OEM Nexan drag radials in 275 are good. The 1320 also has special knurled rims to limit tire movement on the rim.

On my old hellcat the exhaust was completely straight piped! No cats, no mufflers, no resonators

What size nt555r did you run on your 392? Wondering if 275 would be okay to run or go ahead for the 315s

On my scatpack I was running 305/45r18. I didn’t have them on my stock scatpack wheels though, I had the 18x10 Bravado Tributes. They’re a really popular drag wheel for mopars and they are pretty cheap too. I wouldn’t recommend putting 315 on a stock 392 wheel

I’ll usually drive it in custom with track transmission but I’ve been experimenting with the different settings recently

Damn dude the Kia pulls the hardest haha and no really the nt05rs are really good just needed to do a burnout before that launch maybe it’ll launch hard but how’s your driveshaft all stock ?

Lmaoo!😂 and yeah definitely if I did a burnout it would’ve done better, but didn’t want to go through the tires just yet! And yes the driveshaft is stock!🙏🏻

Blackcat 6.2 yeah definitely I’ve heard the same thing, but thankfully I haven’t twisted the driveshaft yet😂 and I wouldn’t recommend putting 315’s on the stock 9.5” wheels, in my opinion that’s pushing the integrity of the wheel and tire

Blackcat 6.2 if you want a drag tire for the stock hellcat wheels, I recommend the nitro 555r, they have them in a 305/35r20. Great drag tire for the streets and they last much longer

6.2hellcat Hahaha man hellcats are awesome till something brakes and you feel like trading the sucka in 😂 and yeah the nitto 555r’s aren’t bad I have a 97procharged cobra on 10pounds of boost and run the triple 5’s 285’s and that bitch spins too much man shit gets expensive trying to put the power down eh

nt05r are sticky but last 5k miles on the street , not worth it. continental dws extreme contact last a long time and have great wet traction for daily use

I was thinking about running them on my Redeye. Because it does rain in South Florida a lot in the summer and drag radials in the rain are scary.
