What is the difference between woven and knit garments? Difference between Woven and Knit || Difference Between Knit and Woven Garments To identify a knit and woven garment, one must know the key difference between knit and woven garments. Below are the differences between knit and woven garments-
1. The fabric is woven by making loops with needles and intermeshing one loop with another loop. On the other hand, the woven fabric is made by interlacing two sets of yarns i.e. and warp and weft yarns.
2. Knit fabric has a bulky and elastic quality. Due to the bulkiness of the loop structure, air cannot enter easily. On the other hand, oven-treated fabrics do not have the same qualities.
3. Knitted fabric has no creases. On the other hand, the use of special yarns causes creases in the oven fabric.
4. Knitted fabric cannot be used as foundation and filter cloth. On the other hand, woven fabric can be used as foundation and filter cloth.
5. Knitted fabric can be made into body shapes. On the other hand, woven fabric cannot be made into body shapes.
6. In case of knit, no starch is added to the yarn. On the other hand, in the case of ovens, the starch is drawn on yarn.
7. Wastage is reduced in knitting industry. On the other hand, wastage is high in weaving industry.
8. The production capacity of knitting machine is high. On the other hand, the production capacity of weaving is relatively low.
9. The production cost of knitting is low. On the other hand, the production cost of weaving is high.
10. Knitting fabric does not require ironing. On the other hand, oven fabrics require ironing.
ওভেন এবং নিট গার্মেন্টস এর মধ্যে পার্থক্য কি || নিট এবং ওভেন গার্মেন্টের মধ্যে পার্থক্য একটি নিট এবং ওভেন পোশাক শনাক্ত করতে, নিট এবং ওভেন গার্মেন্টের মধ্যে মূল পার্থক্য জানতে হবে। নিচে নিট এবং ওভেন গার্মেন্টের মধ্যে পার্থক্য দেখানো হয়েছে-
১। নিডেলের সাহায্যে লুপ তৈরি করে এবং একটি লুপ আর একটি লুপের সাথে ইন্টারমেশিং করে এ কাপড় বোনা হয়। অন্যদিকে, ওভেন দুই সেট সুতার ইন্টারলেসমেন্টের মাধ্যমে অর্থাৎ এবং ওয়ার্প এবং ওয়েফট সুতার বন্ধনীর মাধ্যমে এ কাপড় তৈরি করা হয়।
২। নিট ফেব্রিক বাল্কি এবং ইলাস্টিক গুণসম্পন্ন হয়ে থাকে। লুপ স্ট্রাকচারের গঠন বাল্কি হওয়ার ফলে সহজে বাতাস প্রবেশ করতে পারে না। অন্যদিকে, ওভেন বননকৃত কাপড়ে একই রকম গুনাগুন থাকে না।
৩। নিটেড ফেব্রিকে কোন ভাঁজ পড়ে না। অন্যদিকে, বিশেষ ধরনের সুতা ব্যবহারের ফলে ওভেন ফেব্রিককে ভাঁজ পড়ে।
৪। নিটেড ফেব্রিকে ফাউন্ডেশন এবং ফিল্টার ক্লথ হিসেবে ব্যবহার করা যায় না। অন্যদিকে, ওভেন ফেব্রিককে ফাউন্ডেশন এবং ফিল্টার ক্লথ হিসেবে ব্যবহার করা যায়।
৫। নিটেড ফেব্রিক বডি শেপের তৈরি করা যায়। অন্যদিকে, ওভেন ফেব্রিক বডি শেপের তৈরি করা যায় না।
৬। নিটের ক্ষেত্রে সুতায় কোন মাড় দেয়া হয় না। অন্যদিকে, ওভেনের ক্ষেত্রে টানা সুতায় মাড় দেয়া হয়।
৭। নিটিং ইন্ডাস্ট্রিতে অপচয় কম হয়। অন্যদিকে, উইভিং ইন্ডাস্ট্রিতে অপচয় বেশি হয়।
৮। নিটিং মেশিনের উৎপাদন ক্ষমতা বেশি। অন্যদিকে, উইভিং এর উৎপাদন ক্ষমতা তুলনামূলক কম।
৯। নিটিং এর উৎপাদন খরচ কম। অন্যদিকে, উইভিং এর উৎপাদন খরচ বেশি।
১০ নিটিং ফেব্রিককে আয়রনিং বা ইস্ত্রি করার প্রয়োজন হয় না বললেই চলে। অন্যদিকে, ওভেন ফেব্রিককে আয়রনিং বা ইস্ত্রি করার প্রয়োজন হয়।
