Pile 2 resonated totally! The “child” is an almost 60-year old horrible person that my ex can’t seem to break karmic ties to. It’s a deep and incredibly toxic attachment. The woman is a dark, narcissistic human being who, sadly, has a long-term partner but uses my ex as a pseudo partner and my ex refused to set boundaries with her. “She isn’t a threat to you,” she would say.
