Great to see you guys out and about again. I’m also glad to see you didn’t pay the shameful entrance fees for Hunter Valley Gardens.

Yeh a little out of our budget for what it is. Apparently it is fantastic but would of been wasted on us

Avoid NSW in winter 😂. Hunter and NSW are great in Spring. We always stay at the Cess showground when we go to the Hunter🤙

Even though it’s cold in the mornings and evening at least you don’t have the flies, or heaps of people but when it’s summer oh boy the flies are shocking. I use to live in Cessnock and Bell. Cheers Judy
@Ourwhittleadventure20 күн бұрын
Flies? Really?? I wouldn’t have expected that at all, we did get lucky with the day time temps and it was very quiet! So worked out well for us, if only that heater was working
@kiaoraable20 күн бұрын
Yeah not nice in cold weather in our vans with no heater. Hopefully it's a easy fix without needing a new one. Cheers 😊

Great episode ❤ love all the info except now I’m craving chocolate 🍫 😊 I find if I hang some damp rid pouches it helps stop the mould 🤞safe travels look forward to the next episode💕💕

Damp rid pouches are a good idea! Thanks. We don’t tend to stay in cold damp places for long so hasn’t really been an issue before but will stay on top of it

@@Ourwhittleadventure would definitely suggest doing with some friends and booking a driver. We did 5 wineries 2 distilleries and a brewery. In the end that was too many but it was great to have someone else drive.

Yes! Weve done that in thr Margaret River region and loved it! Definitely the way to do it

Put a bottle of kerosene in your Diesel heater fuel tank then fill it . Might need alpine fuel as ordinary fuel will wax up in the cold. Works for us as we live in cold country.
@Ourwhittleadventure20 күн бұрын
Thanks buddy, it ignited fine but the motor would stop spinning. I pull it apart in next episode and find the issue. New part arrived yesterday do hopefully i have it sorted tomorrow 🤞🏻

Hi guys. What pans etc. do you have when cooking a roast in the Ziggy?
@Ourwhittleadventure15 күн бұрын
We just use the Mint oven pan from woolworths with the slightly larger roasting rack that overhangs but works

unfortunately on a tight budget when raising a young family the Hunter valley wine region an expense that's a little over the top the Hunter valley garden's Christmas light display over the Christmas season is something to see however visiting the gardens unless you are very much a tree hugging flower lover unfortunately is not value for money in my opinion anyway .. having such a young family can seem a difficult task at time's when trying to experience caravan holiday adventures but it all about finding the locations as your children age first its about sea adventures rock pools with star fish ,bird centuries & wildlife Parks,then comes stage 2 when they are old enough to enjoy besches theme parks & amusement Parks , then comes the teenage years when they don't want to be around you 24/7 because they feel your cramping their stye this is when you start to get your lives back if you can trust they will stick to your guidelines & you give them a little freedom while holidaying & you & your partner can enjoy a moment of peace with a freinds you meet at bingo nights yippee lots to look forward to hey lol .. No enjoy the moments with your children while you can because before you know it they are all grown up trying to make you babysit the grandkids ... be strong at this point just say.. i love my grandkids but it's our time to enjoy nights out & your time to be a responsible parent lol ... that's the most rewarding thing ever

Haha yes very well said, we are still very early days and as much as an amusement cark is, he has just as much fun at a playground or in a shallow creek. Weve seen the Hunter now, we hope to return one day a little less restricted but we had fun regardless. Thanks for watching
