This is great. The man is always the head of the family and the wife is the helper. Those are the roles even in a relationship where they started cohabiting. Any relationship must have direction and if the man will not be responsible enough that relationship will collapse. The lady relies on the man for direction so if the man has no vision they won't get anywhere.

So what I believe first things first, the man has to understand his purpose in life because that's the direction of the relationship. Purpose comes before relationship. When you read in Genesis 2 after God had created the man, he showed him the purpose for which he was created thereafter he created the woman to help him. So everything went in accordance with the purpose for which the man was created.

I like your way of thinking. You are making alot of sense.indeed a man should be the leader and the lady should be the helper.though there should be a balance unlike it was before.the lady shouldn't be too submissive until the man gets to overly control her.

@@annaofficial721 you're right, you see most of the relationship especially in the past as you mentioned, they worked according to how things took shape after the fall of man and not how God designed it in the beginning, why am I saying that, I'm saying that because after the fall of man the woman was placed under the man as a slave, she became a subject to the man that's according to Genesis 3 but before the fall the woman was free, she was under the man but she was also allowed to contribute to the relationship so that they can all grow together and that was God's original idea of coming up with marriage or relationship.
