Bro, this would have been such a revolutionary use of the "new game +" mechanic. It also would have been the sickest way to reveal that this was the new Batman game they had been working on the entire time, and simply sold it as a suicide squad game to throw everyone off their trail. They could have easily broken the internet, people would have lost their minds. Imagine opening to the usual home screen and selecting the new game + option, and then the screen goes black and you hear Kevin's voice saying the iconic words "I am vengeance...I am the night..." as a new title screen slowly fades in: "Batman: Divided We Fall" (a reference to the _Unlimited_ series when the JLA fought a fusion of Brainiac and Lex Luthor). I would have started crying.

Like in many Sinster 6 Stories, even if the villains can overwhelm Spider-Man (and do it initially), Spider-Man still ends up beating them because the villains start fighting among themselves more than Spider-Man. Even in the 2018 Spider-Man game, Spidey takes down Rhino and Scorpion because they start arguing with each other and aren't really cooperating and begin to fight Spidey separately rather than as a team. The Arkham games and many Batman comics also do this trope. A lot of wins Batman gets against regular thugs and villains is because their alliance is skin deep. Even in Arkham Knight, all the villains do meet up and agree to work with Scarecrow in order to pull Batman in many different directions, but they all go and do their own thing rather than coordinate in any way. Same for Arkham Asylum. Hell, this is one of the reasons why Batman uses his fear tactics and his "criminals are a superstitious cowardly lot" line. Because most criminals fold like paper in those scenarios. In SSKTJL, the situation is different. For one, the Squad actually trusts, relies and coordinates with each other. They have to. They will actually die if they or any of their members fail. So they have to watch out for each other. They can't run or give up because they all die. They have to keep their egos in check or they will die. And they all have the same objective: to survive.
