Yeah, not sure how so many people manage to believe the kangaroo thing aha (they can be quite dangerous to even get close to), but to be fair, though, the outback makes up most of Australia (spatially), and me even living near a city I've seen kangaroos hopping around plenty of times. But yeah A LOT of Australians live in cities and live a very similar lifestyle to that of an urban American style of living.

But, there are a handful of places were you'll be driving by & look over your shoulder & see cattle just grazing. At the same time, you might come to visit Dallas, Texas, for 3 months and never see any cattle or even anyone wearing cowboy boots or a cowboy hat. I imagine the same would be true for me if I came to visit Australia's metropolitan areas over that same time frame.
