Back to black mountains bike park for some enduro bike laps with an amazing crew.
So fun to ride the enduro bike there instead for the bike downhill bike. Had way more fun popping around the bike park on the 170mm travel.
The BMX crew from home came up and tried MTB for the first time and loved it so much. So good to see different styles all riding the same park.

the answer is the suspension the more travel the more energy get lost, less pump efficiency, less dynamic etc. Cheers :)

What he said, probably the suspension on the DH can be optimized for rolling speed but it’ll cost grip

As someone who rides both, both bikes can go at incredible speed. It all comes down to the rider not entirely the bike. Enduro bikes tend to be more mobile in the air and corners whereas DH bikes tend to be better in a straight line and shredding rough terrain. Not to say that a DH bike doesn’t go slow in turns or is bad in the air.

Yeah at least in the states its Xc-100-130, Trail 140-160 , 170-190 enduro, 200+ DH (or very close to that) . Keep shredding Brendog!

Its because on a downhill bike you throw so much money to buy compared to a full suspension travel bike cost less. Less money = less weight 😎🤙

I love it when all you pros come to South Wales. Always brings traffic through my channel 😏 how good is the farm though? Definitely better on a trail bike!
