The multi-currency system in Zimbabwe has made Zimbabweans to be very great mathematicians. You are always working out the exchange rates...you can pay in US dollar and get change in South African rands or Zimbabwean dollar. Both the vendor and customer will know exactly what is due to them without using a calculator.

I'm a South African from Limpopo. I want to cross the border into Zimbabwe, maybe in a couple of years after I graduate. 😅At least I won't have to change my money or get cheated because I'm a tourist. I understand the languages and their way of life is not too far from ours, just kinda simpler. 😊Thanks for letting us see Zim in a brighter light.

Growing up as a young African girl I was ashamed of being African was often reminded of hw Africa was a poor starving continent. When I grew older, I got the chance to travel to the so called 'affluent' nations and finally realized tht the continents of Africa and Asia hve some of the most nutritious diets and natural foods found in abundance thanks to the diverse flora and fauna naturally found in these regions. And we don't starve by the way it's a misconception!!!🤔🤔 Thanks to African Tigress, Claudia Harmony and all other African KZfaqrs for telling our African stories. Because it's a breath of fresh air for most black people who have had nothing but racist white supremacist propaganda (especially the BBC) about Zimbabwe for the last 20 years from when they dared to take control of their own land and their own destiny. @@AFRICANTIGRESS BTW AT, have you heard abt the annual "My Beautiful House" Competition in Matobo Hills which is abt 30 mins from Bulawayo (if you're still in the vicinity)? Every year they have a Competition to celebrate the Ndebele tradition of painting their homes with bright patterns. It was started by Pathisa Nyathi, a local historian at the Amagugu Heritage Center, supported by Ekhaya Gaia, a local NGO. Might be worth a visit to see this year's entrants if you have the time.

Someone like AT, known for doing this sort of work in many African countries is considered more credible and without any motives. lol . @AFRICANTIGRESS U Jst received an authentic Bulawayo experience... i like how Claudia shared with u a typical meal for us in the CBD of bulawayo, these delights are usually for us people who cant afford Steers and Chicken inn... now u basically know how it feels to be a Zimbabwean on a typical day.

Great video as always . Thanks Queen! My favorite part on this video is when Claudia rated Zim bananas as the best in the world. How did she come to that conclusion? Can someone tell me the name of Mnyii in Shona. Never heard that fruit. I want to try it next time I come to Zim.

Oranges are very expensive in Zim, Russian: could you please ask how the name came about? finally the good thing is that most items are under a dollar including umunyi 😄 that makes it affordable to common people.

African Tigress, thank you for showing what other African countries look like. I see them as Nigerians. Most of my Igbo sisters look like you people. Africa as the center of the world will continue to be a place of reference. Zimbabwe, a great nation. Love you guys.
