Oooo....Shea, you just revealed your true self. You are such a warm soul. I see you picked up Indonesian words even sentences so easily, I think you will master daily conversation in bahasa Indonesia in no time. About the word 'bule' it now has widened meaning - many locals use it to refer to tourists regardless of their country of origin be it Asian, European, American or African. It's true though that it was used to refer to caucasian. When you make it to Indonesia (would be better if you have local friend to accompany you) as some 'naughty' individuals/sellers (not all) charge higher price to tourists because they don't know the normal price. Anyway i'm looking forward to seeing your Indonesian vlog series. Oh...one more thing, most people in big cities and tourist destinations, they speak English pretty well - so don't worry.

Come to Bandung, west java or jogjakarta, central java.they're pretty much cheaper price.for vocabs, apa kabar= how are you, good= enak( for food ), harganya berapa?= how much, cheap= murah, mahal = expensive. Mau kemana= where are you going, es teler is a dessert mixed ice with kind of fruit, condensed milk is so good.

Beside magical bali and it nusa island there's some island that famous among tourist from around the world to visit in indonesia like a komodo national park with 3 days boat trip experience, raja ampat heaven for a snorkels and divers, lombok with beautyfull beaches and not many tourist and its gili like gili trawangan party island and many gili/small island, mentawai island famous among the surfers all around the world, and so many hidden gems beautyfull island with no tourist at all, maybe you can react to wonderfull indonesia emerald of the equator

Hi Shea...i'm ur new subscriber from Indonesia...my hometown is Solo/Surakarta (central java) $5 = Rp. 75.000 ($1 = Rp. 15.000) and if you live in Solo suburb area, $5 you can eat 3 times meal for a day and full meal like Rice with vegies and side dish (Chicken or fish) + drink (ice tea or lemon tea with big glass). It cost around Rp 25.000, in suburb area meal around that price is normal.

Hi Shea, greeting from Indonesia. If you have plan to visit Indonesia, make sure you have specific place to go and specific things to dig in to have best experiences. Suggestion, make friend relation with Indonesian before you visit. So when you decide to visit Indonesia you have local whose guide you freely and have the chance to get local prize not "Bule" prize. Indonesian food is mostly cheap, we have so many varieties of meat, veggies, and fruits . Just take a note most Indonesian food is so spicy, the level of spiceness is more than Thai food. But really delicious. If you may start your journey in south east Asia , you may get used to it with hot and spicy food . But to cool it off ,we also so many drinks and desserts, I suggest you may try avocado shake in Indonesia , and es teller , many foreigner loves this two drinks .

10:34 street food usualy very cheap $3 max if you visit Bali most of them speaks english and also other language very well because international tourists always go there, but if you visit other city is not, you need to learn at least basic Indonesian language like greetings and numbers. First, we are known as friendly country...please visit us as soon as possible...😊...secondly, if you really want to visit Indonesia, please 1000x to do not travel by yourself without knowing the place before..you could connects with other "bule - foreigner" who visited here before...many recommended channel who willing and happy to acompany you explores Indonesia such as @gypsy in sneakers - she's from holland and she knew bali better than me 😂 although I'd have been there more than 3 years....and finally, Thank you for learning Bahasa - Indonesian language and again please come and see for yourself how gorgeous Indonesia is.....see ya 😊

If you want to learn about Indonesia, my advice is to just start by learning the language first. Very easy. Not as difficult as English. So you can interact more easily with local residents. Because I also have to admit, that there are still too many of my Indonesian citizens who still don't speak English. Then it came to Indonesia.
