Its normal for teeth to be slightly wiggly. If one tooth is more loose than others, then it could be due to bone loss around the tooth (gum disease), trauma, if you knocked the tooth, then sometimes it becomes loose but sorts itself out. If the tooth has had root canal treatments and posts (i.e. lots of treatment), then its possible that the tooth may have cracked, and may need removal. Sometimes the way your teeth bite can cause looseness. Unfortunately, in all of these cases, there is nothing you can do at home, you definitely need to see a dentist to help you out here.

Go to a dentist. dentists can fix teeth that wobble a little. if your tooth is literally wobbly, or like literally hanging by the root, then they'll remove it. if it's a little loose, they'll fix it up. or sometimes the wobbling fixes itself up, my front tooth is wobbly a little, but not that much. and it's because i've hit it alot. but they can harden it and other stuff, but please, if you actually feel like your tooth is gonna fall out and the fact that you can't bite on it. go see a dentist. they might either remove it. or try and fix it somehow. how is it now?

I think it depends on the extent of the gum disease. You're probably taking better care of your gums than you think. I have added aged garlic extract and fish oil to my diet and my gums are much improved now.

It can cause a heart problems or even a stroke. The blood circulating in gums can transfer bacteria to other important organs, especially with developed gum disease. So it's more than just a cosmetic/aesthetic problem

The thing is my family has gum disease running through our genetics, and I've been seeing the same dentist since I was 3. Then we changed because we realised all he kept saying was "keep brushing" Even though I had plaque everywhere. I always used to ask "can you scale my teeth" all I got back was they are fine. Now I've changed my new dentist scaled my teeth without me asking, she also told me that I need braces and I have a severe case of gum disease which went untreated, she said that as long as I regularly flossed, brushed and used my cordoslyn mouthwash I should be fine. But I'm scared! I'm only 13 and I don't want them to fall out, I'm just not ready. My Mother told me her teeth were exactly like mine and hers are still in her mouth, she said just try not to touch them, but that's extremely hard. Because I use an electric toothbrush and every time I'm finished using it, I close my mouth and I can feel all of my bottom teeth shifting back into place. Please respond I have no idea what to do 😭

if they are baby teeth they should be fine but if they are adult teeth all I can say is dont touch them, brush your teeth and FLOSS. just dont panic. try to go to a dentist as soon as possible.

+OneLastHope HD hi, you might be right. the most simple thing is to try having hard 'splint' made, which is similar to a mouth guard. this it to wear at night, when the bruxism normally takes place. I hope this helps!

@@animallover6487 Hi, my teeth were feeling much better over time and then after four months i got braces. The only thing i did is just not touching the tooth because then i just get a bad mindset about it. I also started caring more about my teeth: washing with toothpaste, then scratching without toothpaste, flossing and i also tried the coconut oil pulling but i stopped with that because i didn't feel that it helped (maybe because i was doing it only for a week). But overall its just time that helps although sometimes i still feel it a little bit but it is just probably because i had the problem for a longer while so i got used to it.

Andy, there are a whole bunch of reasons that your tooth can be loose. You should arrange an appointment with a dentist as soon as possible so they can have a look and take x rays of needed and tell you exactly what is going on.

You can't just do a saltwater rinse 1 time and expect it to make a difference. Just go to your dentist and they will tell you if it will tighten back up or not
