The fact it was a scientific study too 😂 and if you look at countries on the equator, they tend to have flowy clothes. India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, many African countries, Arab countries (generalising sorry) typically wore flowy clothes even before Islam. Pakistan and Bangladesh especially can get humid. Not to mention China with their recent 100% humidity. They all typically wear flowy clothes still, it helps more.

Long flowy skirts are a blessing when it is hot. Breathable materials are much cooler. I've come to covering my head with a scarf because of the heat. A hijab does center the focus on a woman's face, and I get that. Not into flashing my elderly body parts OR getting them sunburned. Not muslim, however, I like practicality. The first time I saw my friend in her home in a tank and shorts, I almost did'nt recognize her. (she was home ill) Never minded fielding visits from single men, deliveries, etc. She always shared food with me and neither of us had a lot to share. Sharing food when neither have plenty is love.

Shorts and tank tops are actually much worse for you in summer than being completely covered up in cotton based clothing. When the sun hits just skin it makes you hotter and afterwards with the sunburn it will be much more uncomfortable.

When you keep your skin protected from the sun, you feel even cooler. Linen fabric is wonderful for that. Women don’t get real compliments, though, when they are half dressed… They are looked at like objects, and it can mess with a woman and make her feel thats her only worth. Then she proceeds to get more validation by wearing less. I think the hijab can look beautiful, and it must be nice in winter, but surely these women must question why they are sweating in summer and how it doesn’t all add up.

You can still do it now! It's up to you. Your choice. And if we're being real here, today you could wear almost nothing and it would be "fine". You could wear different costumes such as LGBTQ people do, and it would be fine. So why is it problem to cover yourself? I don't get it how does she harm your existance by dressing the way she does? You are obvioulsy full of prejudice (against one group of people in this case), and if ever, now people can wear whatever they want and wherever they want. If one group can do it, so can the other. If you respect one group, respect the other too. I can't with these double standards.

Also I HIGHLY recommend cotton blouses or dresses. They provide excellent coverage but are incredibly breathable! You have to double check in the store because some are a bit translucent because they are thinner, but many are made thicker with full coverage that don’t require another layer and the cotton makes them so light and breezy. And inexpensive. Historically, cotton and linen gowns were very popular so that women could maintain the modesty expected of them but not have a heatstroke with the corsets, and maybe other layers of the time.

@@cozettetorres My lesson to you is a simple one. From birth we all have this thought in the back of our minds, this feeling from the bottom of our heart that there is someone out there looking over us. This is our innate belief in God. Just like we know it’s wrong to hurt someone, we know God exists. However society tries very hard to convince us the opposite. Think about this very simple example - You see a cake but you don’t know how it got there. I say it just appeared, totally randomly and without anyone making it. What will your response be? You will laugh 😹 You will say look at this beautifully designed, multi layer cake, how could you for one second think it wasn’t made by someone! Likewise, our planet 🌏 is a multi layer cake with our atmosphere, our oceans, land, soil, magma and various layers forming our crust. How can we think this intricately designed thing just come about without cause or purpose? It’s absurd! God created the universe, humanity and much much more. In his infinite wisdom and mercy, he sent for us guides in the form of Prophets to help us live our best life. The first Prophet was Adam (Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him), after that Noah, all the way down to Abraham, Moses, Jesus and finally the last Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings Be Upon Them All). Prophets of God are the best of humanity who lived lives with the best of character and manners as an example for mankind. The final Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him) was given revelation known as the Glorious Quran. It is the speech of God Almighty, Allah, sent via the Angel Gabriel, Allah’s greatest Angel, with 600 wings encrusted with jewels, to deliver this revelation over 23 years. The Quran is a guide for all mankind so that we can learn and benefit from it. Today, the Quran is the only revelation of Allah that is fully and completely preserved. Revelations given to previous prophets have been changed and added to by human beings. However, the Quran is fully preserved. It is passed on generation to generation in the hearts of believers who memorise the Entire Quran! Millions today have the Quran memorised completely and over a billion partially! This is how Allah has chosen to preserve his revelation, a guidance to mankind. When was the last time you heard anyone memorise the full Bible in its original language? Does even one person exist that has accomplished such a feat? Perhaps but I personally don’t think so. This is because Allah has made his revelation easy to memorise. My advice to you is read the Quran. It is easy to read in simple English (or language of your choice). If you do a google search, you can find very nice looking websites dedicated to the Quran. You can also listen to it played in the most beautiful recitations. If you wish to be part of the truth, all you have to do is to testify out loud or in your heart that there is no one worthy of worship except One God (Allah) and Muhammad is his final Messenger. With this, God willing, you become a believer in the truth and are eligible for heaven. To us, our greatest gift isn’t heaven but to get the chance to see our Creator, Allah, in the next life. With this, I bid you ado. ✌

So if a person is not following islam then we can just advice them and after that its just between that person and Allah (god) but forcing that person is completely wrong For example if a sister doesn't wear a hijab and her brother advices her to wear it and if she still doesn't wear it then the brother can't just force or abuse her The men who does that are sinning differently and more than their sisters but at the end they only think that their sister is sinful cause she is not wearing the hijab and that's completely wrong and not taught by islam

This has no relevance but ay my school they have a summer muslin uniform, it's a light white flowy skirt at ankle length with a full coverage cotton cover up which is white to not attract heat, it also has a light blouse. And personally I just like how inclusive it is. And there is a room for muslin girls to go in to take off their hijabs and layers if they get to hot with fans and air conditioner in which i thought was really nice. And each Muslim gurl has their own key to lock it so that no-one can come in so it's safe and private. I'm not muslin but this was made aware at the start of my school year and personally, I just really appreciate it, as well as everyone in the school even the boys liked that they had somewhere private so yeah- ❤
