Just an example one of Jokowi running mate during the Jakarta governor election is from Gerindra, a chinese christian man named Ahok, something you would call a double minority in Indonesia, managed to secure a high position in the capital. Something unseen throughout Indonesian political history. From my perspective his party is actually quite progressive, also have a lot of young people filling up their party position. 3. Ganjar; he doesn't have good track record while being the governor of central java. He's also backed by PDIP and everybody knows that his presidency would only serve as a proxy for it's party leader, just like during Jokowi years where she insinuated that the president is only her party officer. He is probably closer to centrist in political position, but a lot of people grew distrust of the PDIP party questionable remarks during Jokowi era.
