1:30 The answer is simple there’s probably a sheet of sprites finds all of them but with some that’s a swapped out so when it tries to look for those Sprites It would end up finding different ones instead And the reason why adding a gumba shoe would fix it Is because now we can find the correct sheet of sprites But why it sometimes doesn’t work and well… I have no idea

it would seem that the goomba shoe has the same properties as the falling tanooki statue. pretty sure that every enemy immune to shoe is immune to tanooki.

Hey Darby, I don’t know if you remember me but I used to tune into your streams around 2016-2017. Your content helped me head an earring disorder which I am unfortunately still struggling with, but I’d like you to know that you helped me more than you know. (before video) I meant to watch this a while ago... 4:04 Likely immune to the spikes on their backs, but otherwise three hits as usual. Being able to bounce on Bowser makes that battle much easier, though getting that far with the Kuribo Boot would be really difficult...

@@ThiagosToons Using a mario 3 software that edits levels in Super Mario Bros. 3, all you need is a clean usa rom of the game and the software (there are plenty of software to use to edit levels in the rom and even probably change sprites)

The sledge bro shoe glitch is probably why the shoe is only found in one level. They probably intended it for more, but couldn't figure out how to stop the glitch. So, they had it as a novelty item, but kept it for only that one level.

Normally that's not how graphical glitches work. There's a reason he placed Boot Goombas after all; If a sprite is pre-set into a stage (or segment of it as it scrolls), then it will have data to draw from. If it doesn't, then it'll pick at whatever is the next closest thing to fill the gap (if it can't fill the gap somehow, usually it may cause a game to softlock).

4:54 SMB3 Workshop is a level editor for Windows. I can't add enemies or objects because it says that the level's data would overrun boundaries. :-( You can add enemies and objects, and even change the level's palette and the enemies' palette.
