I redeem my Arex ticket voucher within the 48 hours of the pass. Then i use the voucher on last day, ie 2 days after my DSP expire. So it is possible to redeem for Arex ticket after DSP expire, but you must remember to exchange for the voucher within DSP active timeframe. Hope this helps

If use for free attraction, you don’t have top up. We top up as we are using it as T-money for public transportation. No expiry for the T-money function.

I believe only 1 price. For kids, suggest you buy the tickets separately as they might get free entries to many of the attractions.

No. Topping up the card for t-money function doesn’t activate the pass. It will only be activated when you use it for free attractions/ redeem AREX voucher.

How do you know how to get to these places? Did u use the bus to go there?

Where did u buy the discover seoul pass?

I use the “limited” google map to help me to navigate bus number / bus station & train/train station to get to my destination. It is limited, but i still manage to get it right . They say Naver maps is more friendly but I was lazy to download more apps to my phone.

For our trip, it is worth it as we maximise the usage through the 48 hours. If you are planning very different experiences, you will need to check your planned itinerary’s attraction prices & compare against the price of pass that you are opting for.

We stayed in Koreana Hotel and Travelodge Myeongdong Hotel. Koreana Hotel has bigger room space which is good for active kids ☺️ Public transportation is also convenient from both hotels.
