A wonderful, but complex, discussion. All makes perfect sense. I am now on a low carb, high fat diet and have lost 2 stones in 3 months, and have refused to take statins. Thanks you Dr Kendrick.

been Keto last three years, latest blood works are total cholesterol 12.5--- HDL 1.92--- LDL 10.1--- Triglyceride's 1. Normal blood pressure, type two diabetes reversed metabolically healthy but My Dr is bouncing off the ceiling trying to get me back on statins. I was on 60mg of atorvastatin for over 10 years with most of the side effects but still ended up with three blocked arteries. Now looking back, stress was the biggest factor plus high carb low fat diet. stopped statins seven months now and feel so much better. Dr Kendrick's spot analysis gives me the confidence I have made the right choice to stop taking statins. My Dr didn't even know what apolittle A was so pointless talking to her. Follow the science not big pharma.

Thank for this informative and lovely interview. I just love Dr. Kendrick. I read his blog and his take on Thyroid problems is so true and flies in the face of the conventional non-wisdom. His take on heart attacks is similarly refreshing and so convincing. Why doesn't the whole medical profession acknowledge this man's brilliance? Maybe it has something to do with honesty or lack of it? By the way, you can produce nitric oxide by humming in a way that you feel the vocal chords resonating, according to Dr. Klinghardt.

What makes this presentation so good is that it is 180 degrees apart from the standard group think that most cardiologists have been brainwashed with by big pharma. I look forward to reading some of Dr. Kendrick's books. Thanks.

Smoking gun here surely should be blood flows slow enough for cholesterol to far more easily stick to a vein if it were simply a case of little more than cholesterol sticking and digging under the endothelium than in arteries and yet it never happens. If your doctor tells you you need to lower your cholesterol your question should be ... do veins form plaques and if not ... why not? If they can't give you an informed answer then they don't know why they are doing what they are doing when offering medical advice. Most doctors are simply mechanics following manuals. They rarely write them or question their contents and in-fact are medically obliged not to question them or be struck off even if the contents are wrong.

The description of the glycocalyx reminds me of the intestinal villi in celiacs which gets damaged by gluten. I know gluten can escape the intestinal track .. I wonder if gluten proteins can also damage the glycocalyx ? I have the DQ2 haplotype (40% of the population of the world has one or more gene that can cause celiac disease) .. this same genetic haplotype is very common in Type 1 diabetics. I believe gluten is responsible for a cascading storm and killing of pancreatic Bcells .. I was tested at 16 and told I was on my way to developing type 1 diabetes. Later in life I developed the typical butterfly face rash as seen in Lupus until I went gluten free and my immune system calmed down.

I agree quit interrupting your guest. Also, if you say you are going to do something you should do it. You said you would have a list on your website of foods that help w nitric oxide production but you didnt, or ots not available to someone who is not a paid member, which i will never be. Easy to find on other websites. You would probably have more subscribers if you just listed the things on youtube. But whatever

No mentioning of animal fat and oils damaging the endothelial lining of the arteries????
@TheCompleteGuitarist
@TheCompleteGuitarist 3 жыл бұрын
Because they are not factors. Why would he mention them if they are not significant? The issue with seed oils is that they are high in omega 6 oil and omega 6 is responsible for managing or creating inflammation, which is a necessary function of healing (it's not always a bad sign for if you injure yourself inflammation will help you heal) however the body needs a balance between omega 6 and 3 (my science is obviously very rudimentary here) and unfortunately seed oils ramp up Omega 6. Omega 3 aids reducing inflammation. However, if you think seed oils actually have a specific impact you'd need to cite the study or research. As for animal fat, it's very stable and highly nutritious. It's been vilified in favour of pushing high carb and processed foods and to maintain the cholesterol myth narrative.

Steve Bennett imagines he is clarifying the issues but only irritates and interrupts the flow of a perfectly clear description by someone who knows what he is talking about. Pity interviewing is not his forte. At least he is providing the platform for Dr Kendrick .

Kendrick looking like he is going to have a heart attack.Would love to see Dr.Essylstein and Kendrick debate.Not only would Dr.Essylstein prove him wrong,he could probably take him for a run and leave him in his tracks,and Essylstein is probably 20 years older.

We need to move on from the lipid heart hypothesis, the RCTs on saturated fat have never supported the lipid hypothesis, and the introduction of the 2004 trial regulations have pretty much killed the statin paradigm, since then 2/3 of cholesterol lowering trials have shown no CV benefit. The hypothesis started based on fraud in the 60's, and it would seem it's still carrying on that way
