It would just be people So when shootings are defined as mass shootings I’d be expecting an entire city blocks worth of people getting massacred in the masses Not 10 people getting shot 10 peopel isn’t very much Fuck more people die from the common cold more then they do by guns And peopel die even less in mass shootings then peopel dying During airplane crashes Facts man Mass shootings is just a word to make you more afraid Liek AR stands for Assualt Rifle It stands for Arma Lite Machine Gun is the correct word for Assualt Rifle That terminology is just the government making you more afraid If your gun rights and those who own them Their trying to take our freedom By taking our guns

Right? Blame those fucking guns! People who like guns always say something like " ah but we need guns to protect ourselves", REALLY?! Then why when there is a mass shooting there's no one defending themselvs? You know why? Because guns's purpose is TO KILL! It's crazy in the US, people can own guns like they own french fries. Where I live at (Portugal) it's getting harder and harder to get a gun, you need to take a series of mental tests and written tests to see if you have knowledge about guns and only then they maybe give you a license. Btw, I think Trump's words are kind of a factor to this. He IS the president, so there's always gonna be people that really listen for what he says.

For me it is bullying in school. when i was in high school i would always get bullied when all the students leave i tell the teacher and in the next class he would call out my bully in front of everybody making my bully really angry and making him bully me even more to the point of breaking my arm, stepping on my head and bashing my head on the ground and threaten to kill me you will say parents? they literally didn't give 2 shits about me matter of fact my father even told me i was the biggest mistake he made i hated this cycle of going to school and being treated that way and then coming back home to my abusive parents and the thought of school shooting came to my mind i just wanted to prove everyone wrong i wanted to get revenge, luckily my grades were good i moved to college expecting the same treatment but i found friends there i saw life in a new light i thought it was so boring and dark every single day after i moved out of my parents house i really enjoyed living, everyday was so peaceful no one is pushing me around or hitting me or even threatening me, and i'm so glad i never shot my school i would have wasted my whole life behind bars.

I'm still surprised to see that in a country like the US, which has such a high literacy rate, high per capita income, a high standard of living, low unemployment and low poverty, yet a lot of it's citizens still feel the need to have guns "to protect themselves". This is nothing but ironical. The entire gun culture and the symbiotic relationship that a lot of Americans have developed with guns is dangerous.

I don't see where this "society problem" argument is coming from in the gun violence topic. A lot of countries in the world have problems related to their societies, but they don't have much gun violence, forget about mass shootings. Society has always been filled with both good people and bad people. It was like this way 1000 years ago, it is this way today, and it will be this way 1000 from now as well. You can't change the entire society at once. What you can change is your laws. What you can amend is your constitution. If you change your laws, your society will change and adapt according to it as well.
@amanshukla8758
@amanshukla8758 4 жыл бұрын
That's where you should start looking at other countries. Most of the countries in the world give their citizens the Right to own a Gun. So don't think it's anything special with the US. But the difference between US and other countries in this topic, is that the US does not have any Strong rule or law to control and regulate guns. While in other countries there is a always a strict system of having background checks, periodic reassessments, official training under the supervision of experts etc. the US doesn't have that. And then there is the Gun Show loophole. All of this prepares a perfect concoction for mass shootings. You guys might deny it now, but deep down even you know that it's actually the guns and the loose gun laws which are the major reasons for this issue. Because there are other countries in the world where you can claim that their "society is rotting", but they have little gun violence and almost no mass shootings.

Please take them as suggestions rather than a challenge or provocation. I told you all this with the best interest in my mind for you guys. 😎🤘🏻

AMEN. -------- Ready for a change? -------- Good News! Greetings dear ones, JESUS CHRIST Loves us all and Salvation is in HIS NAME Alone. Believe and be Saved. AMEN. The Gospel message we share: GOD Loves us all. JESUS CHRIST came to seek and to save that which was lost. HE came into this world to save sinners. All humans have sinned except JESUS CHRIST. JESUS lived a perfect life yet died a horrible death for our sins. GOD the FATHER raised HIS SON up from the dead and Set HIM at HIS own RIGHT HAND in Heaven. JESUS CHRIST Shall return again at the appointed time to judge the world in Righteousness. Only those who are born of the SPIRIT of GOD shall be saved in the end. Therefore, to see GOD you Must be Born Again (Jn 3:3). Call on JESUS CHRIST! Ask HIM to save your soul today. Be baptized with water and Receive and Obey HIS WORDS all of your days, seeking GOD'S HOLY FACE in prayer every day and night so that you can be ready when the LORD returns. AMEN. If you have any questions or desire prayer, Feel free to contact me. JESUS CHRIST Loves you. AMEN. Hitler lost that match and had to immediately damage something so he invaded Poland. The REAL reason behind the shooting of Abe Lincoln? Yapp, totally right... he won the match by shooting a blue shell onto Booth just before he'd won the match. Lee Harvey Oswald caught Kennedy cheating in Mariokart... and we all know what happened afterwards. Cold War Crisis? Mariokart! 'Nuff said. In fact Japan developed Mariokart for the single purpose of cold blooded revenge in response to the nuclear bombardement of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Every other game is just a copycat. Somehow I don't think these terrorists are playing Minecraft or Skylanders. I think it is a legitimate contributing factor to consider. Do these first-person shooter games desensitize young people to violence? Studies show that they do. Just as watching too much porn desensitizes people to sex. I just don't think it is the only factor. And as you can see with places like Japan, who also have these games, the absence of actual guns makes it hard for this desensitization to devolve into an actual murder rampage.

RansomeStoddard maybe you should be looking more at our culture. I'm from South Africa and we do have extremely high crime rates, weapons are easily accessible, yet the crime is a result of high poverty and unemployment. I have played violent video games my entire life and I suffer from mental illness and I have not shot up anywhere. When I was in high school, the people who would always get in fights never played video games and frequently boasted about killing things. However, we need better mental healthcare in this country. Particularly for men, alot of men feel like they have no one to go for when they are suffering and often times society just write them off with little to no help.

First it was the violent imagery in certain comic books that was blamed for anti-societal actions. Then violence in cartoons (e.g. Roadrunner and coyote). The next target for blame was rock and roll and heavy metal music. Increased violent imagery in Tv shows and music videos next felt the outcry. Now it is the turn of video games and the internet to be held responsible. A clear attempt to point the blame elsewhere except to the fact that if these types of guns were not easily available then there would be no issues of mass shootings.

Back in the 80's and 90's there were shootings at night clubs across the country and no one ever looked at the CD player in the culprits car to see how the music they were playing may have been involved. Strangely enough once the culprits were arrested; the shootings stopped. Meanwhile during that same time, there were people who responsibly and legally owned guns and no one had to worry about them or the topic of gun ownership.

"Nutt stated in a 2013 article, "those who feel nameless and as though no one will care or remember them when they are gone may feel doing something such as a school shooting will make sure they are remembered and listed in the history books."[65] In considering the frequency of mass shootings in the United States, criminologist Peter Squires says that the individualistic culture in the United States puts the country at greater risk for mass shootings than other countries, noting that "many other countries where gun ownership is high, such as Norway, Finland, Switzerland and Israel . . . tend to have more tight-knit societies where a strong social bond supports people through crises, and mass killings are fewer." He is an advocate of gun control, but contends there is more to mass shootings than the prevalence of guns.[66]"

@@mahande88 No... Its the best approach. Every other developed country with strict gun control has less ( i mean faaaar less) mass shootings then the USA. And why is that? Because not every idiot can go to a Walmart and buy a fully automated assault rifle. As a european i cannot understand why u let people in the US by such things. If you want to be able to own guns for your own safety ( still the wrong thing imo but thats ok) why dont you limit them to specific types of guns? Yo dont need an AK47 to defend yourselve!! A simple 6 shot magazine pistol can do the trick. Or a single barreld rifle that you have to reload after 2 shots.
